Q-Ko-chan
Story and Art: Ueda Hajime
Produced by: Del Rey Volumes: 2
Fan of FLCL (Fooly Cooly)? Then you'll notice that the producer of this manga is the same person. You should know what to expect from there. mrgreen
Q-Ko-chan is a wonderfully wacky story that revolves around school kids, robot girls, aliens, mecha, world wars, and sexual undertones. Pretty standard Hajime stuff. Like FLCL, the story seems to make little sense at all at times, and it's rather difficult for me to sum up any of it for you.
The premise is decently explainable: robot girl needs a pilot, so random popular schoolboy becomes that pilot. Things explode from there.
Sadly, this manga is only two volumes long (just like FLCL). It also leaves a lot of room for imagination. Personally, I like it! But let's have some discussion, eh? Thoughts? Impressions? Let's have 'em!
[Small Spoiler: It ended so abruptly though! ARGH! So much left unanswered... but so cool at the same time... ]
