It was a suprisingly pleasant winter day on the university campus. Students milled around in coats and scarves, cupping take out mugs of coffee in their hands and lounging out on the various benches around campus as they studied.
Siobhan was coming from her violin lesson. There was a recital coming up and she was being forced to do a solo in order to pass this term and gain her next grade. Smiling to herself as she entered the cafe she grabbed a cup of chai and took a seat on one of the sofas inside, placing her violin cade on the floor.
She cupped the warm drink in one hand and pulled out the book of music she was supposed to memorise.

It'd been just random luck that Jun had even been in the cafe, he'd been in a business class when the teacher had gotten extremely sick and the class had been canceled. The good thing for Jun was that his next 3 classes had been with the teacher, so he'd just gotten the rest of the day off.
Drinking a strong tea and reading a korean magazine Jun didn't notice Siobhan at first till she sat down. Looking up Jun smiled, the girl from the lock in. She was amazingly interesting, and hot as well.
Standing, Jun put up all things before walking over to lean down behind her, "Is this seat taken?" he asked, smiling at her.

Sib had been so absorbed in the music she was reading Jun's voice took her completely by suprise. Jumping a little she turned round and smiled at the attractive young man. "Oh, hey Jun." She said moving her bag off the seat and gesturing for him to sit down. "It's all yours. I didn't recognise you with your clothes on."
her eyes widened as she realised what she had said and she laughed. "I uh, I mean your day clothes." Not that she wouldn't mind the alternative. She thought as a slight blush coloured her cheeks. "How's the life of an aspiring business tycoon?" She asked, covering her slip quickly as she picked up her mug of chai.

Raising an eyebrow at the comment on clothing, Jun smiled, letting the comment go. He decided the moment that he could see her blush that he liked it on her. She looked coy and that was endearing.
"Boring as always, my teacher got sick so I have a free day now. I don't feel like wasting it in my dorm so I decided to read down here. I made the right choice, or else I'd not have been able to see your beautiful face again."

Again at his words Sib laughed and blew lightly on her tea. "Right." She said raising an eyebrow at him with a smirk. "I bet that's what you say to all the ladies."
She shifted to cross her legs and took a sip of tea, the smile still playing across her scarlet lips. "You're lucky." She said after a moments silence. "I'm done for the day but I'm going to end up stuck in a practice room for most of the afternoon. My coach is a slave driver." She gave a mock grimace and took another sip of tea. "You know. You don't strike me as the business type. Why did you pick to study it?"

Smiling as Siobhan spoke, Jun shook his head, "I actually don't. Not many are worthy of such a comment," he said smiling smoothly.
"I actually didn't start out in business, I started out in music. However, it didn't work on for me. I still music production but business pleases my family and it's interesting enough to keep my interest."
Leaning back into the couch, Jun looked up at the ceiling for a moment, "Are you going to be in productions?"

Siobhan blushed again and took a lond sip of her drink to cover it. He really couldn't be serious. beautiful was not a word she really associated with herself. "Music production." She repeated with interest. "I'll bet that's interesting. I know a bit about the management side of things. me da's in a band."
Recovering from her redness she lowered her mug and reached for the sheets of music she had been looking through. "I have a recital next week for the violin. But mainly I'm planning to go into stage work. True theatre as opposed to musicals, but if I have to start there than I don't mind too much." She shrugged and smiled. "What instrument do you play? As you started off in music?"

Smiling, Jun nodded. "It was fun, though I realized it wouldn't keep me happy for long. I was mainly doing it as a way to piss off my father," he said before shifting a bit. "Violin? That's a hard instrument to learn. My mother played it."
Jun was silent for a moment, before he grinned brightly, "The guitar, I learned to play it from my older brother before he moved out. He could play the guitar and the drums but I'm not nearly as good at percussion instruments as he is."
"When is the recital? I want to watch you play." Their was honesty in his voice, he really did want to see Siobhan play, he wanted to watch her hands fly over the violins strings and weave a song from thin air.

Siobhan grinned as he spoke and continued to drink her tea. "Hmm, maybe I should try that. Go into politics. That would really piss him off." She smiled as he spoke about his mother and noted his silence, though it didn't show. "It is hard, but I've been playing for years. Started off on the fiddle when I was a kid and went on from there. Its my way to escape."
She placed her mug down on the table as he spoke about learning the guitar. "We'll have to jam sometime. I sing too, part of the performing arts package."
As his question she blinked and flushed a little again. "You really want to come and watch?" She asked in suprise. Picking up her bag she fumbled through and brought out her diary. "Um it's next Friday. At the concert hall in Yokohama. " She said taking out one of the tickets she had been given and handing it to him. "Um, maybe ... if you weren't busy after we can go for dinner or something." She suggested, looking away and out the window. "They have some great restaurants there, and that way we don't have to travel back here alone."

Smiling at the excitement that flowed through her body, Jun nodded. "I would highly enjoy it." Taking the ticket from her, Jun stored away the info in his head. Yokohama, Friday. He'd have to make sure to get out of his classes early so he could get there on time.
"I think you just asked me out on a date," he started before smiling again. "You beat me to the punch. I'd love to have dinner with you, but only if I can pay. " It'd been a long time since he'd actually wanted to flirt with a girl, he'd almost thought he was loosing interest in them, that was until he was hit in the face by this very interesting woman.
