Hurray!!!
I just stopped writing for tonight... I finished at 25002 words!
I'm halfway there, and it's the twelfth of the month! That's three days ahead! biggrin biggrin biggrin
I didn't think I was gonna be able to do this!! Hurray!

Same here. I was betting against myself, figuring that I would never finish. The I checked my word count today and i have over 25k! I basically did a happy dance and, well, everyone thought I was crazy.
I was just so happy!

I'm at or over the 25k point, I think. I won't be sure until I finish this chapter, since I break my writing into chapters, each chapter it's own file, then copy paste them into a .txt file for the nano counter.
But yay! Halfway there!
EDIT:
Just finished that chapter. It puts me at 25,817!

My goal is to hit 25k today, I'm just over 21k right now. It would probably help if I was actually writing though, and not spending my time on Gaia. xd

The trick is to force yourself to keep going back to your writing. Also, for every 1000 words I write, I reward myself with 30 minutes of video game time. That seems to help a lot... my output has skyrocketted! biggrin

I finally reached halfway last night. I haven't been that happy in ages. Luckily I got lots of new ideas earlier today so I shouldn't be running out of things to write before I get 50K.
