Escaping from mommy was never too large of a task for any pup when they had as many siblings as Kinye seemed to have inherited with life. Especially when they all grew like weeds like they did.
Poor mommy and daddy.
That had been Kinye's thought when she'd slipped away from her mother and most of her siblings to go bounding off to play instead of staying nearby to eat like she -should- have been doing. Hey, who needed to obey mommy when she wouldn't have the energy to tell her off la- BUG!
The cream-colored female's train of thought screeched to a halt quickly as a flutter of some sort of movement caught one of her lavender eyes, causing her entire head to follow it's movement, before she went chasing off to find it, jumping into a patch of grass...
unfortunately, however, whatever it had been had gotten away from her. ".. Darn..." she complained, stretching her limbs out in front of her in a casual way, pushing up some of the dirt there.
Frowning at the disorder that was created by the action, she smoothed one of her paws over the mess and attempted to even out the dirt by shifting her paw back and forth over the spot, coating her black little toes with dirt.
After the spot was fixed how she wanted it, Kinyegele hopped back up to her paws and giggled, wagging her tail. Now all she had to do was find a playmate!

Luckily (or unluckily?) for her, Kinye wouldn't have to look long for a companion. She wasn't the only one who had wandered from the pack in itself that was Kengee and Ujuzi's brood. Although it might have been more of a surprise had Poka, resident and self-appointed troublemaker of the clan, actually stayed where he was told. Instead, he found himself following Kinye, ready to claim for himself some of the fun she was undoubtedly engaged in.
"Found you!" He shouted playfully behind her, tail wagging furiously in the air, before adding to his statement in a know-it-all tone that sounded a bit too righteous for someone who guilty of the same offense. "You're not s'posedta be here!"
Poka's ears perked forward as he glanced around with a skeptic eye in search of the elusive 'fun'.. All he could see was smooshed dirt and his little sister (she was his little sister after all; he was before her!). He paused for a moment with a frown before an idea finally formed in his mind, making itself apparent by a wicked grin. "PUPPYPILE!" He yelled, charging towards her and leaping in the air.
Little did the two siblings know, their absence hadn't gone completely undetected. Kinye might have been good at sneaking off, but Kengee had learned long ago that, in particular, his second son would need some extra looking after.. Not that Poka had been very subtle with his escape in the first place. However,
Kengee was surprised to see not one, but two of his children in the clearing. He layed low in the grasses behind them, watching amusedly for now.

Ohsnap! She'd been found!
Not that she'd understand that was the case -just- yet. Kinye sniffed about in the dirt with a ravage curiousity, before the voice of her elder sibling (curse birth order) caught her ears, causing her to perk up her ears curiously to stare at Poka as he made his accusation.
"Well -yer- out here!" she accused in turn, before dropping into a psuedo-scuffle position, her tail wiggling up in the air, and her chest brushing against the ground.
However, the moment Poka yelled out his intentions and taken to the air, a loud shriek escaped from Kinye as she attempted to move out of her nearly grounded pose to run away from her sibling as quickly as she could.
It didn't really work, and instead she found herself on her side in this rather pathetic pose, limbs sprawled out all over, before her brother's crushing weight landed on her (okay, so he didn't weigh -that- much, but Kinye was so small, it seemed like that much..)
"HEEEEEELP! I'M BEING CRRRUUUUUUUSHED!" she flailed in a distressed way, totally unaware that daddy was not that far away.

"THAT'S DIFFERENT." He yelped, grinning mischievously as he tried to keep from her throwing him off. "I'm just here to make sure you stay out of trouble, is all! I'm being.." He paused as he tried to remember the word for it before grinning confidently. "'Responsible'!"
As if that were possible. He wagged his tail. "THAY NNKLE!" He responded to her yelps through a pair of jaws currently latched around her ear.
The adult male made a face from behind the grasses but held back from intervening, for now. Boys would be boys.. But he couldn't help but wonder if he'd have a problem keeping Poka in line once the young male grew older.
As for Kinye, he had a blind spot for her, just like his other little girls. He knew his sons would be able to protect themselves, and though Ujuzi might give him proof enough that females were just as capable, he couldn't help but worry for his little princesses. Even now he was fighting the urge to pick Poka off of her and give her a reassuring snuggle, but he had to remember that the young ones were learning, and soon they would be past the age where they could rely on him to protect them. Even if he wanted to make sure they were all safe, watching over eleven adolescents would put him in an early grave; they were growing up, and he'd have to let them.
He continued to observe quietly, taking in the sun as his orange eyes remained watchful.

There was a pause in her distressed flailing, in which the cream colored juvenile looked up at her brother, frowning a bit. "..... I'd never thought I'd hear 'you' and 'responsible' used together in speaking of you, Poka.." Kinye stated in a sort of psuedo-shock. Poka.. RESPONSIBLE?
She wouldn't even leave him responsible for a grasshopper.
After this interlude, she attempted to shove her paws underneath her body in an attempt to get up... which failed horribly. Getting up was definately not an option. Thus.... when Poka made his demand (as horribly jumbled and hard to decipher as it was...), she was ALMOST tempted to give into it.
Almost.
THUS..
"NO!" she huffed, pawing at the ground in an attempt to get a footing. She'd get up and throw her brother off of her, if she had to. O<
