If you read the book, then you should have felt an immense anger and had a compulsive urge to beat the living hell out of the director, like I did.
This is what slowly happened while I watched the movie.. burning_eyes

i agree completely. it has been said by some of the crew working on the movie that all the director wanted was fast cash. they ripped lotr and star wars so they could make a movie and put the eragon name onto it. because of the popularity of the book the movie sold well.
