It had been almost a week after her encounter with the green hued, strong souled lioness. She still had plenty to ask of her, though. There was so much she didn't understand. It troubled her so much, that she almost completely forgot about her evil ways, and focused on this matter. She padded lightly, to the opening of her den. Peering in, she sighted her mother and father, napping with Wahabu -- her brother. Rolling her eyes, she stood idle. Looking back, she began thinking once more. Her eyes were solumn, as she turned back around, wandering off for an afternoon stroll.
Kilango just continued on the dusty path, flicking her tail silently, every few moments. She was remarkably sad -- and this was an emotion she was unfamiliar with.
Kikore was settled in the shade of a tree, watching his mother as she pushed her back against the rock and away from the winds. Every few moments, he saw her look about as if in a craze, her ears perked and her body curling as soon as each breeze brushed through. He was out in the light at that moment, the grasses blending with his pale furr and his eyes liquid in their depths. Shifting a second later, he turned his head into the breeze, just learning how to catch a scent and being able to find the one of Kilango.
His eyes widening, he just swallowed quickly before glancing back to his mother and lowering his head with a whimper. She took note of it, and looked up as well, soft brown eyes searching as Kikore's own Amber ones watched and waited.
Kilango stood silently on the path, which she soon turned off of -- wandering into the grass. Their souls had led her right to them. She wasn't so excited as previously to meet them, though. She'd already been rejected from them once before. But, she felt as if they were the ones she was mean't to join. She just had a tug in her mind, telling her the path to choose in her life. Since she was usually too busy being mean, she had no time to think on it and would choose the way her mind told her to go. Now, she could feel a sense of decision, and still -- she chose to see them once more. She never wanted to give up.
Padding forth aways, she spotted the other cub, Kikore, hiding in the grass. She just blankly looked towards him, emotionless. Her only emotion inside of her was sadness, so she had no wanting to express it to them, atleast until she spoke. She inched past the green male, as she made her way directly for Palesa, once again. She kept a safe distance, unlike their encounter previously. "Hello, Palesa." She looked up at the lioness, her eyes slanted, with a dazed look. Her jaw was hung open, not bothering to close her mouth. Especially if it took effort.
Watching as she moved past, Kikore braced himself, the words on the tip of his tongue as amber eyes just traced her every step, her every breath. When she paused, he too paused, before standing quickly on his paws and racing past to curl within his mother, save between her paws.
Settled without even moving, the female just lied there, eyes trained as well on the youth while she took a deep breath. When Kilango spoke, she turned to where Kikore was and purred softly, sensing his distrust for the cub and attempting to wash it away. She knew that such distrust was not healthy for such a cub, and hoped that in the future it would not effect his judgement and personality.
"Hello there..." She said polietly, but nothing else was behind the words, her eyes and posture wary of what new surprises the blue one would send, already predicting the meeting to be only slightly different from the last. Hopefully, Kilango would not ask to be taken from her parents, for Palesa hated to decide on such a choice.
The blue female took a deep breath, and then sat herself down. "Palesa, the strong souled -- I wanted to appologize for my previous behaviors." She peered down, looking to the ground. Her ears lowered. As Kilango's view returned back up. "I've been thinking on things a lot recently. Things I never knew before. Many things I don't understand." She sighed once more, her tail lightly swinging about on the ground. "One thing that troubles me, is why you won't let me join you, at all. I'm nothng more than a cub. I'm nothing in this world. I would have no effect on anything, truthfully." She stared into the lioness' eyes. "Do you not want me? Is that the problem? Or do you not want me to be seperated from the lions I call my family?" She tilted her head, curiously. "I just... ... want to know."
She waited and watched the youth's movements, reacting in turn by her slow breathing and and out and back again. Her ears were still perked, and her form curled snug against the rock and away from the winds, the winds that continued to summon her away from her family, her protection. Pushing the thoughts away, she lowered her head and rested it against Kikore's, cheeck brushing his small one and maw set in a thin line.
As soon as the question was finished, Palesa closed her soft brown eyes, "You are a cub, you are in your family's protection until you can survive on your own. It is just not the way of life to jump from one mother to the next...you are meant for your family..." Hopefully, the pale female said the words the right way, and she slowly opened her eyes to make sure everything was clear.
She just tilted her head once more. "But, a mother and father do not make a family. Others can too. Friends, other lions, anyone can make a family. Especially if they want to be with them." She just looked away. "Although i'm a cub, i'm clearly capable of fending for myself. I'm not your average child, thats for sure. I have my own free choice, do I not? I can choose where I want to go." She nodded slightly, afraid to hear another rejecting reply from the older lioness.
Moving slightly, the pale lioness lifted her paw, a sign for the female to move closer if she wished. With Kikore curled at her side and silent, she could easily pull Kilango close in an afectionate way she wished for. All the adult saw was a cub crying for help, and once she got it she would be back to normal, back to loving her mother and father.
"You are still young," Palesa murmered softly, "Still innocent and unknowing of the pain and suffering around you. You have been given a gift of living in this pride, of knowing your parents, and to throw that gift away would be foolish."
Kilango returned her attention back to Palesa, as she listened in on what the lioness had to say. ... ... another let down. She sighed once more, and then went to reply. "The gift of hating your family, the gift that makes you want to destroy them ... ... its something i'd rather throw away." She snorted lightly, looking away for a moment. "I have no more intentions to return to them, Palesa. For now, atleast."
Shifting once again, a clear sign of uncomfort, the lioness glanced around and avoided the winds and the sounds she heard. Her heart called out to the rebellious youth, if that is what she could call her, but alas her motherly senses fought away the feelings, the memories encasing her.
"We have only met once, correct young one? Strangers we still are to eachother, I know not your past, your family, only your name..." She trailed off, clearly deep in thought, before a sad smile crossed her maw.
"Sadly, young one, it is hard to call what we have a true friendship...though that does not mean we can try, but until we acomplish that feat, I would not consider your stay with me a wise decision...I am sorry..." Her eyes were soft, clearly saddened, and she wished not to hurt the young one's heart nor shatter her dreams.

Kilango sighed. "Of course we can try but, even your decision on the matter will not decide my fate. I only listen to one lion -- and that is myself." She raised her paw high in the air proudly. Her jaw, wide open with a grin. As she placed her paw back onto the ground, she quirked a brow. "Why do you try to stop these events from occuring? I'm only doing what I think is truely right for me, based on the series of visions i've seen previously. I base my actions on what my mind plays back to me. Whether its the past, present, or the future."
She looked away for a moment, snorting. "I will find a way, Palesa. ... you'll see." She darted off a few feet, facing the opposite direction of Kikore and Palesa. She glared into the sunlight with fury.

Palesa let out another sad sigh, her eyes trained away a moment before speaking up with a soft ease.
"You will one day regret your decisions Kilango, just as I have come to do so in the past...the choice may be yours in the future, but as long as you still rely on the family you seem to hate, you have no right to demand from others such 'justices'." Standing slowly, she moved towards the cub as the winds taunted her with unseen fury.
"Once you are older, come speak with me again, and we shall see, but for now I wish you would just let the dreams lie dorment within your soul before they harm you further."

"I will never doubt my motives, Palesa." She snorted, with a bit of attitude. She backed away from the green-tinted lioness, a slant in her eyes. "I do not associate with those who turn me away from my dreams, strong one."
The young cub flung her tail into the air with fury, and began heading off. She had no more a reason to try and persuade her now. She had her own plot dancing madly within her skull. ... ... a plot to follow the family of lions, to see what path fate chose for them. She'd win her way in the end, she always did.
"Our paths will meet in no time, I assure you, Kikore'ruia and Palesa. I will be watching you in my own way." Kilango closed her eyes, as her mind lead her back towards her own family, for now. Soon she'd venture out and discover more about the world around her. Or, at least the god would soon find herself being reacquainted with an old past.
That was how fate was predicting the future of this little innocent soul.
