Teke yawned widely. The little brown cub was wandering on his own for the first time! Well, not completely on his own. His brother was with him, or at least in the area. Quivering with excitement, he bounded forward, calling out to the grumpier lion.

"C'mon, Kura!" he laughed, turning to look for his slower sibling, tail whipping behind him with excitement. "C'mon, you said you'd come exploring with me! Hurry up!"

Teke knew his brother probably didn't LIKE being called Kura any more than he liked being forced to participate in Teke's little exploring games, but on some level it made him mischeviously happy to have someone to annoy thus.

"KUUUURAAA!" he shouted again, a little whine in his cubbish voice.

Kaikura was clearly sulking as he trudged along with a grimace on his maw. He didn't want to go exploring with his stupid brother. And he didn't want to be called Kura the whole day and hear Teke's whining voice. It was already giving him a headache. So he pouted like a spoiled child, dragging his paws through the dirt as he trailed behind his brother. He refused to have fun. Absolutely refused.

Pale blue eyes landed on his brother and a mischevious grin split the cub's face. He made a sharp turn and wheeled back to Kaikura, paws flying as he attempted a clumsy pounce.

"Spoilsport!" the darker cub said cheerfully, fastening his tiny needle-sharp teeth around his brother's ear and tugging. "C'mon, you SAID you'd play!"

"HEY!" Kaikura growled in irratation. He pushed at his brother with a large paw, scowling bitterly. He yanked his ear free, falling back into the dust on his bum. His discontent was obvious as it had been before. "I said I'd come, I never said I'd play stupid games." Kura wasn't really the game type, unless it was hiding behind the mask of training or hunting or some such thing. This wasn't, so he was going to be as miserable as possible. Or at least he was determined to be, cranky brat that he was.
