This is a rather unpleasant situation. I'm not sure what to do.

For a voice that is distractingly horrible, Noise Control is a MUST... to cause the girl some public embarassment for the mental anguish makes sense to me... ><

I actually had this problem before...however the other person was my sister, and just like any "loving" sister, she decided to "grace" my ears with her voice up until she left for college. Now it's quiet. Bliss.
I would suggest calmly, and politely talking to her about how distracting it could be, and ask her VERY nicely if she could stop or at least tone it down to a more bearable volume. Never be mean or rude in these types of situations unless you want trouble...or unless you are related. crying Hope this helps you...or yeah, put headphones on, I did that too.

Thanks for the advice smile . I have decided to just put my headphones in. I don't actually know her and I am shy to go over and talk to people I don't know, especially when it's to confront them about something. I'm glad I am not the only one who has gone through this.

Well if she only sings a bit then headphones are fine. But if she does it for hours on end then I suggest stabing her whee

Lol, that's an interesting alternative. I have kicked the wall/floor a few times but I don't think she heard. I have not heard her recently. Maybe she went home for Thanksgiving.

well I think she would be calling the noise people on me cuz I would have my music up so loud that she wouldn't be able to hear herself sing XD

Lol, that's another idea I've been given. But then I would disturb my roommates.
A while back, I had told some guy friends of mine about her, and now it's like this huge joke they always tease me about. Last time they came over, they ding dong ditched her apartment, and someone answered but I don't know if it was her because I have never seen her before. Lol, silly boys.
