Kain still seemed puzzled. What exactly would stop them from going through the pass, not like a bunch of peasants could stop them. Nothing a good slice to the face wouldn't stop...he accepted the thing, a little apprehensive maybe, from not fully understanding.
"...kay....Can we just go now?"

The elf rolls her eyes and nods. V'enir was to the west of her land, it was the city most often visited by the guild members who actually called the DSBG home. It was important to keep the peace between the two. The V'erinians happened to be an especially supersticious and racist group of humans, so taking care not to 'cause a stir by spending a few moments here and now, would save her hours of damage control later should they be spotted.
Taking to the air again, Sierra would lead them out of the mountain pass, hopefully in one piece, and then after another two or so hours, V'enir was in sight, the first of the outlaying farms was nearly beneath them.
"Now's as good as any a time to activate that charm..."
She called back, even as she cast an illusion over herself. Once Kain had the pendant on, anyone looking up would only notice two large ravens, making good time.

Kain shrugged and put on the object with some reluctantcy. It was probably better not to ask questions, the answers may not be something to his liking....something that may revolve around the words-'No' and 'Killing'.
He could feel the charms enchanted aura immediately, the pendant itself repulsed him slightly, his skin cringed where it touched, for only a moment and then returned to normal.
"Well, let's go then. I'm eager to stop all of this travelling."

Mamoru sat quietly, as he often was, darkly clothes and silent.
He sat with his bag to a large weeping willow, the trickle of the small stream behind him gurgling along quietly. The branches of the willow putting a pattering of shadow across the small clearing.
He sat with 1 leg flat on the ground, and the other bent so the knee was level with his eyes. arms held out, one braced over his knee, over the ground, the other laying on the ground wrist up.
his right hand was relaxed, small droplets of blood falling off of his fingertips, both wrists were shallowly cut, enough to burn and bleed, not enough to kill, and he smiled gently, he couldn't see, his face was marred as was his body, he was a killer, he had no love, no real life.
And he couldn't kill himself, he had to stay alive, on that off chance someone came along, someone he wanted to be around.
