A few days ago, Novemeber 1st, our family friend's 5 year-old daughter just passed away from a brain cancer. They were a very orthodox family, and it really amazed me how much such a young girl can have faith. Sometimes, I found her praying or saying something really wise about God. It meant so much to her. I also found it cute, how she alsays wanted to be a nun-ballerina 4laugh . They constantly visited a monastary in Arizona, once they found out about her terrible brain disease, and she asked to be buried there. Can you believe it? She ASKED to be buried there! So, she is about to be buried there. I found it so sad; her cousin one some award in a famous contest, so he was posted in the newspaper, and on the other side of that page, it told of the little girl's death. I also remember, how the princess of Thailand came to Oregon in order to see her; JUST because of that, isn't that so sweet? It was in the news too. She was so cute and sweet. The last time I visited them was on my birthday, and she wanted to give me all her toys. She was that generous. It meant so much to her. Life meant so much to her; once she asked her mom how many years she's been sick for. It must've seemed like AGES taking medecine 30 times everyday. She's been sick for a fifth of her life. It makes me cry to look back at all of this.

That is so sad. But isn't it wonderfull how, at the same time, you learn amazing things about life and God from those you least expect it from. At least we know she is in heaven with God.
