I wont ever play it as PvP but PvM looks very interesting.
On iRO and aRO I've found only bad things happen when you fight people neutral

See, I'm the exact opposite. I would LOVE IT if it was pvp. More reason to keep hanging around Gaia if it is.

I'm mega excited about the battle system. It looks like a retro rpvg. Kinda along the lines of the old zeldas. Then again, I'm a gamer, so of course I'll love it xd I've even gone so far as to make sure I collect all the weapons before it comes out. The only ones I have left to get are the whips and gauntlets pirate

I like the idea of the battle system...I just don't want PvP! I got a lot of flak in the Battle System thread in the forums because I said "I don't want to see a PvP system...with all the 13-14 year olds running around here, it'll be like Lord of the Flies meets Pokemon."
Otherwise, bring it on!

I am very curious about the new battle system. I hope they finish it soon so I can try it out at my college before I graduate (they have high speed interent). 3nodding
