The lioness shrinked back when she heard the word snake. Well, she obviously didn't like that. "O-once..." she started. "They're scary though, Usiku, aren't they?"
She didn't like the noises they made, though it wasn't much. Maybe it was the way that they moved with no limbs? Kenna kept her safe when she was a cub, but regardless, they creeped the little striped lioness out.

He shrugged, yawning to himself, then shaking out his fur, looking rather fluffy, making his little face look even smaller. He blinked up at the striped lioness. "What're they like? "

Halili shivered. Now she had to describe them? Oh, what a horrible game. She did her best to swallow her fear and explain them to the little cub.
"They're....slippery things. They have no legs, but move really fast. And they make a weird....hissing noise when they're not happy." Halili tried to mimic the sound, but failed miserably. Whoops. She shook it off and peeked a glance at him. "But Halili didn't talk to one, nope. It was talking to itself, and seemed very scary."
She nodded matter-of-factly, sure as anything that snakes were creepy. Maybe not evil, but they were unnerving.

"Ooh, like big tails? " The cub blinked, streching out his tail to the side and pointing at it with his paws. The image of a giant tail making hissing nises came to his mind, or wet, because it was supposed to be slippery.
"Did it.. attack you or anyhting? "

"No..." she started, thinking about it. "No, they're not big, just long. And kinda green. Mostly."
She peeked down at the leopard cub, curious. "Does Usiku want to meet a snake? They're scary, though they're in the jungle...somewhere."

"ooh. ' He blinked, the picture of something longer, like his moms tailcame to mind, maybe even twice that size! That would be cool. But he wasn't so keen on seeing something so long up that close just yet, as he was.. tiny.
"Umm.. Maybe. If me 'n mum 'n da ever come by any. " He shrugged. "How dothey move if they don't have legs? "

Halili eyed the cub, and gave him a serious nod. "Like this."
She flopped herself onto the ground, still as can be. Then she began to wiggle, as best she could from memory from how the snake moved. Of course, she looked quite silly, but she did wiggle over a bit. She stopped soon enough, though, and glanced back up at Usiku. "Like that! Just...better then how Halili did it, hehe." She lightly laughed at herself realising that she got herself dirty and probably looked silly, too.

The cubs eyes widenned, he almost thought she'd been having an attack when she flopped onto the ground. But then his brows furrowed and he lifted a paw away, almost as if it'd just been slapped.
"Snakes are.. odd, then. " He blinked at the orange lioness and set his paw back down. "You've got a leaf on your fur cleaner. "

Halili was oblivious, as always, and turned her head around to her tail, noticing that there indeed was a leaf on her tail tuft. "Oh..." was all she said at first, before she shook it off, the leaf drifting onto the rough jungle floor. She blankly stared at it before growing very embarassed. Why? She didn't know.
"T-thank you..." she studdered, wondering what to say now. He was just a cub, but maybe it was because she made a fool of herself. Again. "W-well, s-snakes arne't nice, s-so it w--would be good to stay away f-from them."

'Thanks for the advice. " He shrugged. This was an odd lionness. Perhaps they were all like this. And they all must have fur cleaners, unless she was mutated.
He got up onto all fours again, flicking his tail and looking at the lioness. "I think I better go home now. " He said cooly. She was ok, for a lion. They seemed cool enough.

She dipped her head low, understanding. Well, she'd just try to not be quite to silly next time. Well...if there would be a next time. She hoped that Usiku would want to talk to her again, maybe when he was a bit older?
"Yes, Halili understands. It's getting kind of late..." she said slowly, trying to bring herself back up again. "Halili will see you later, then!"
