Hey guys...
Somehow I dragged my friend into liking BJDs as well, and now she wants a little girl called Leaf from Dolkot. Problem? I can't read Korean and neither can she.
Has anybody ever bought from Dolkot who'd like to offer advice?

You can get Leaf from www.dollmore.net which is in English. Just scroll down the page a bit and there should be a Dolkot link. I've ordered a doll from Dollmore before and my experience was quite pleasant and I've heard similar accounts from others as well.

GIANT TEDDYBEAR HUGS TO YOU GUYS!!! domokun heart
My friend was really trying to get this girl, so I'll tell her right away. I owe that much to her since I was the one who pulled her into the BJD world by accident while raving about Tsukasa. @@ *hugz*

Maybe this is a little late, but I just had to speak up. Dolkot bodies are wretched. Absolutely wretched - the customer service and the ordering process...all of that was wonderful; but from the moment I removed Nova from his carrier until the day I sold that gawdawful body for $250.00 (most doll bodies go for at least $400.00 or so, btw) it was hellish.
He wouldn't stand or sit, he looked like a hunchback - very unattractive.
Even after I restrung him, sueded him and WIRED HIS LIMBS he wouldn't stand. It was rediculous. His waist 'joint' kept popping out and there were times when it was all I could do to NOT throw the torso.
Girl bodies don't seem to be much better, as a good friend of mine owns a Leaf that I was fussing over - she's so cute....but again, BODY.
Good luck with that, and I truely hope that your friend's experience with the Dolkot body is better than mine. (I didn't sell [i[Nova - he's currently still with me, but on a BW CP Delf body. :3 )

Is Dollmore not selling Dolkot molds anymore? I noticed that after Kiss came out, Dollmore didn't seem to to keep up the link for Dolkot.

Dolkot opened up thier own English language site . You can see thier dolls, plus thier new MSD line at http://www.dolkot.com/index.phpDolkot also has new standard bodies for thier dolls that work better than the old version. They dont really look any different, but the issues the old versions had have been corrected.

Wow, Syrie, you've sure had troubles with your dolkot body.. couldn't make my kiss stand either, until I gave him knee joint locks made of milliput, carved the holes in his thighs a bit farther back and glue-sueded him. But now he poses like a dream ^^ I have no experience with the new bod tho.
