 Welcome, I am the Lord and Master of this Castle, Lord Galen A'Asteran. For whatever reasons you might be here, be it by invitation or by mere begging it is a honor to meet you one and all. For it is upon these grounds that something will be built upon. Not just merely the Castle itself, but a comradeship in the likes that others will only dream about. For it is here that we take those valiant first steps in preparation for the Combat System that will eventually fall upon all of us on Gaia. It is my hopes that this Castle will serve as a beacon to others that we will be a force to reckon with. The Castle Proper is still under construction, but as each day passes new things about the Castle will come about, and with your help, I am sure the grandeur of this place will be beyond compare. If you have any ideas or suggestions, then PM me or the Vice Captains or Crew, as they will certainly get that information to myself or act upon it. Please do not use this announcement thread to post your questions. If you have one that must be posted, the please make use of the Audience Request (Comments) thread below in the Castle Proper.For now, take a bit of a tour of what is already here, and go to the Barracks and Quarters section of the Castle to get your room assignment. You will eventually need to make a decision as to which group you believe you will best serve. It is there that you will post your characters profile. For ideas please look at the others, and look below for a template. Finally, for the fun of it, go to the Gatehouse and post how you arrive. Guild Rules
Grammar Members need to use proper English grammar. We understand about mistakes. Members are not to correct others spelling or grammar. If there is a problem, the Guild Crew will address it personally.
Posting Everyone, whether invited into the guild or whether they requested membership MUST post a character profile in one of the three introduction threads: Knights of the Crimson Brigade, War Magus of Castle De'Seas or Rangers of the Druidic Circle of the Dark Forest. These are in no particular order, that's just how they appeared when I started pasting. The post can be as long as the member chooses. The more in depth the post is, the better. Members are now required to post their profile information within 30 days of joining the guild. Failure to meet this requirement will lead to banning.
Reading vs Skimming Read the bloody posts! If you cannot find the time to read through the posts, do not post! Skimming causes misunderstandings and flame wars. We really do not want to have to throw people out because one person was too lazy to READ the post.
Swearing Keep all swearing to a minimum. While it is occasionally necessary, it is still crude and vulgar. Please keep all postings within the realm of PG-13.
Bashing This guild will not tolerate Bashers. A basher is a person who, regardless of what valid points of discussion are brought before them, they tenaciously hold that their point of view is not only the right one, but it is the only one. All topics will be dealt with in a logical order/discussion. The Crew and Captaincy will not tolerate bashing of any form. If found you will be warned once, and if happens twice you will be banned.
Bossing No bossing people around. Unless you are a member of the crew and are seeking to control an unruly mob.
Pissy No getting mad and flaming other members. It's rude and your personal life has nothing to do with the guild.
Spamming No spamming member's private message box. No spamming member quarter threads. No pretending not to know about the spamming rule. Ignorance may be bliss, but it will get you banned. We have zero tolerance for spammers. This applies to chainletters as well!
Advertising No advertising other guilds in this guild. No advertising your quest. If you are questing, put it in your signature and shut up. You will be banned for advertising.
Begging I HATE BEGGARS! Beggars will be banned on sight. It does not matter if you are begging for items, trash or gold. If you didn't notice this rule prior to the heinous act of begging, it is your own fault! You will not be forgiven. You will not get a second chance.
Banning Crew members are not permitted to edit posts or ban members unless a rule is broken. All evidence of wrong doing must be posted in the crew subforum and PMed to Galen_AAsteran. If no proof is sent then the crew member will be demoted. I have seen many captains having problems with their crew arbitrarily editing and deleting posts just because they didn't like someone. This behavior is unacceptable.
Announcement The captaincy and crew members are the only people permitted to add to the Town Crier thread. If a member has an announcement, they should post a thread in the main forum.
If you violate any of these rules and are banned then are permitted back in, you will be banned again. Also, the Crew member who allowed you entrance will also be banned.
If you feel like you were banned by mistake, you make contact Galen_AAsteran and request an inquiry in which the evidence will be checked and the banning upheld or overturned.
Any members who are harassed over the PM system or any who receive chainletters are encouraged to click the red button that says REPORT THIS PM. Be sure to also forward this message to a Crew or Captaincy member so that we may properly browbeat the idiot who sent it out.
Additional Warning: No administrator or moderator will EVER ask you for you password. Do not ever give it out! Not even to your friends! Most hacking reports stem from friends who've become enemies!

Subforum FAQs
The Bailey - The Baily is the area where tournaments are held, and where challenges take place. This is also for general RP threads that do not fit anywhere else.
The Inner Keep - The crew subforum. Regular members cannot get access.
The Mausoleum - Home of dead threads. Located here are banned member's quarters and threads.
The Library - Home of information. What kind of information? What do you think we should know? It also serves as a place that our members can post PG-13 fantasy stories that they have written. Finally, it also allows members to post art gallery threads and medieval art they want to share.
The Outer Keep (Headquarters of the Crimson Brigade) - This is the home of the Knights of the Crimson Brigade.
The Merchants Quarter - Where threads such as RP bars and pubs. This is also where members may create minishops that sell Gaian items or art.
Castle Quarters and Barracks - The location where members create rooms of any type they can imagine. Members also role play within the quarters, but everything must be kept PG-13.
The Dungeon and Torture Chamber - The realm of the punished and tortured. Don't break the rules and you won't end up here!
The Dark Forest - The home of the Rangers of the Druidic Circle of the Dark Forest.
The War Magus Tower - Home of War Magus of Castle De'Seas.

Reporting Violations
In order to deal fairly with everyone, please be prepared to back up any complaints with evidence of wrong doing. This includes listing thread names and page numbers.
If you are afraid that the violator will alter their post to destroy the evidence, quote their post. Do understand that if you are found to be altering the posts of others in order to get them into trouble, you will be banned.
If the person making the report is found to have incited the violating behavior by personally attacking or saying something inflammatory to the violator, they may also be banned. Be careful what you say.
If someone is being purposefully inflammatory, please report them right away. Do not egg them on into further flaming. This kind of behavior will get everyone involved banned from this guild with no hope of ever getting back in.

Rules Supplemental:
We are asking for character profiles because until the Gaia Battle System comes out, we will be role playing.
For those who have posted a profile, please create a post in the Gatehouse about how your character arrives at the Castle.
