Durem
A city of ancient archaeology where many of the buildings retain much of their last-century styling. The city of Durem, for many, serves as a place to hide their secrets.
In this city are various means to an end, often through illegal means; if one has the money anything can be taken care of if you have the right connections in this town.
Various crime bosses vie for dominance in this city, their bloody confrontations often taking a toll on the lives along with morale of the citizens who are in most cases simply too poor to move away. The police, the few of them who are still on the level at least, try their hardest to combat their corrupt comrades and the bloodthirsty greed of the criminal syndicates.
A town of twists and turns. A town of tragedy. A gray-skied realm that time doesn't seem to change. A story as old as time itself. A city that seems cursed by the greed of men.
