How long do turnips last? And do you think buying them at 97 bells was a good price?

 Turnips last 6 days. You buy them on Sunday, and by the next Sunday, they will have gone rotten. So, if you don't want it to be a total loss, you have to sell them on Saturday if a better price doesn't come up before then.

Turnips will never rot if you put them on a table. But you didn't read this from me. redface

About a week. Then they go bad. It's horrid.

Go into your house and place an item on the floor next to a table with nothing on it. The item should fall on the floor, next drop a turnip and it will land on the table. Turnips on the table will never rot, so you can keep the longer. This way you can keep your turnips for a long time and wait for a great price Tom Nook will buy them for. Red turnips never rot, but you must water them every day for about a week and they will, if properly raised sell for 16,000 bells. Eh, kinda good, you gain 15,000 bells.

I buy over 2000 turnips nearly every week and sell them for more than 500 each, I make about 1 million.
