yeah by the topic i mean me.... i really need help with my game, not so much shooting as running, cover, etc.
off the break i run directly left or right [for airball] and then cut straight forward into the bunker so i can keep myself from getting shot off the break. however this really hasn't been working... last time i played it was a 3-on-3 three and as i made a run for the left 40 stand up i get pelted.... so what should i do to get there off the break without getting slaughtered?

How are you entering your bunkers? Sliding/Diving is very a useful and key tool for making it to just about any far bunkers these days. Running straight to your bunker gives you a huge profile for your oppenent to hit, but if you slide/dive to a bunker your reducing your profile to an oppenent.

Another thing what are the size of the bunkers you are running to? A big bunker allows for better cover then going to something small. Also see if you can use bigger bunkers as running cover to your bunker you are running to.

Another thing are you physically fit to be going to these bunkers and what is the weight your carring in pods, marker, hopper, etc. I myself am a decent sized guy and sometimes have challenges to getting to further up bunkers off the break. So I usally just set my primary bunker somewhere close to the bunker I want to go to that further up. Also About carrying wieght a light amount of weight being carried will help you out. When I plan to goto snake,50 bunkers, and other far up places I'm using my Phantom which is a light weight marker and I'am only carrying about 100 rounds.

i don't slide or dive because i don't have the proper knee padding and moreover this isn't astroturf we're playing on it's dust and dirt with lots of rocks...
i'm more of a mid-tape player so off the break i'll usually go for doritos doors and sometimes laydowns or stubbies that are at about the 20 or 30 tape.
my pod belt has only four pods and i hardly get past using the second one because i conserve paint a lot.... i'm using an ion so it's a light gun but i'm using a steel tank so that really back on some weight... usually i have anywhere from a full hopper to a half full hopper [i'm using a halo b for my hopper]

Not being apple to slide is most likely a big reason why your not getting to these bunkers without being hit. I really wounldn't risk sliding if you got rocks sticking up outta the ground and what not.

The weight your carrying doesn't sound whats holding you back from making it to your bunker. Your proably just choosing a bunker that is in a really bad lane to run through. The field setup at my local field has a some really bad lanes to the left off the break so you usally see one of our left players drop off the break.

try going somewhere else, make it unpredictable. i see on your drawing of the field set-up, there is a blind spot. right off the break u can get to the center 50 no problem. off the break, run around dorito and get really low or crawl on your knees (if that area isnt rocky) and the both left and right 20/30 guys and back center wont see u. but most likely that the 3 players will be in those 3 bunkers and they would expect the same for u to do.

just try different places and maybe double up in back center and shoot off the break and when the lane of paintball for the bunker u were going into is done, u can do the delay and bump up into ur bunker

if u want i can make an illustration if ya want me to cuz im bored enough lol
