and the following is when i rp with her.....
Cassahndra was confused. She decided it was best to just stay in one place, at least, for the time being. She lay thinking about what happened the day before.
She remembers waking, and confused about how she was up in a tree. She had looked around, and realized that she was high up, and that the veiw from there was gorgeous. There was some kinda metallic machines nearby, and she didn't know what they were for, but they looked kinda neat. There was a giant flat round thing, with lots of little flat things all over it... which confused her even more. She then streched, and realized something felt funny... something was wrong... but what? She glanced behind her, and knew immediatly what the problem was. 'what the?!......... i... i....' she was frightened now. and she screamed "I HAVE WINGS????????????!!!!! HOW?!" She would have fallen from her perch had she not grabbed the limb of the tree suddenly. Clasping on tightly, she had streched her wings cautiously, then finding she could "think" control them, she imagined them flapping slowly, lifting her up... and it worked!
As she lay on her loft perch, her stomach growled hungrily. She whispered softly to herself... "I really don't dare to move from here... i don't see anyone... but what happens if someone does come? shush tummy, don't growl at me... you're not as hungry as you say you are." She lay facedown on the top of the giant farris wheel, and streched her wings from their close position on her back. She thought 'If i can't keep them active... I may not be able to get down from here. Up, down, together, apart... up, down, in, out.' Exhausted from the streches, she fell into a small slumber, her wings drooping down, and falling over each side of the little ledge she lay on, forming a small barrier between her, and the almost dizzying decent from up high, to the ground.
The sudden chill brought Cassahndra to consiousness. She realized the temperature went down again, and that her wings weren't wrapped around her like they were the night before. she slowly rose up, streching her aching limbs, thinking to herself 'Wow, i guess sleeping only face down can really hurt after awhile.' She looked around, and noticed the sun had almost set, so she gazed out into its gorgeous colors. It had almost set, when it dawned on her, that she could do something to watch it just a little longer. without giving anything a second thought she stood on the precariously swinging ledge, streched her wings out, and stepped off the side, plummetting halfway down, before catching an updraft. she flew up, higher then the wheel, higher then the trees, until she flew up into the sunlight. she flapped her wings to stay in motion, and watched the sun sink again, then turned to watch the moon rise. 'its so beautiful' she thought... then realized she was getting tired too fast, and fluttered slowly back to her perch. she ignored the creeking that the giant hunk of metal made as she slowly landed. then wrapping her wings around herself, she started to doze off again, ignoring how hungry her stomach told her it was.
Something stirred Cassahndra from her doze. She glanced around, but didn't see anything majorly odd. She looked up at the night sky, gazing at the stars. She was startled as she realized what had woken her from the doze. An owl call rang through the woods, for the second time, echoing out into the open area of the theme park. She gasped and let out a small squeal, then clasped her hand over her mouth, shocked at her reaction. Cassahndra then laughed loudly, losing her fear, and shouted to the woods, "I'M NOT AFRAID OF YOU! YOU DON'T SCARE ME! BE QUITE YOU DUMB OLD BIRDS!"
Satisfied that she had shut up the owl, Cassahndra laid back in her ledge on the farris wheel. She giggled at the thought of the old bird huffing angrily at her for shouting. Cassahndra sighed, and leaned her head back, watching the stars again. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a streaking light, the light from a falling star. She had the sudden urge to make a wish, without knowing why. She whispered, letting the minor wind take her voice to the heavens, "I wish, i could remember who i am, how i got like this... who my flesh and blood is... i can't remember, and i wish i could.... I don't want to be lonely anymore."
As the night deepened, Cassahndra fell deeper into her doze. The hunger was finally starting to go away, though eatting nothing for however long had made her weak. Weak enough to only be able to fly for a few seconds, just barely long enough to get down to the ground, and then stumble around to find food and water.
Cassahndra twitched, deep within the clutches of a dream. She awoke 5 minutes later, sweating and panting, and for the second time upon her consiousness, she almost fell off her lofty perch. She caught herself, even with it swinging, and then lay down, clutching the little bench upon which she lay. Her wings lay draped over the edges again, and while she didn't want to sleep more, she started to doze lightly again. At least this time, she didn't dream again.
