I'm doing an essay on comparing and contrasting The Bill of Rights in England and America. stressed
But to the point, I don't know what the 3rd right means of the English Bill of Rights
it declares:
3. That the commission for erecting the late court of commissioners for ecclesiastical causes, and all other commissions and courts of like nature, are illegal and pernicious.
yes the big words are killing me sweatdrop , but i have tried to figure the rule out, i believe it means that you cant use someones religion against them in court.
I have no idea if im right though.

you are correct in your assumption
the word ecclesiastical pertains to religion.
pernicious another word for malicious so forth so on
so basically what this is saying is that a person's religion, sexual preferance, race can not be used against them in court.
