Yeah you will. When you have around 8 power berries and the full set of the kitchen, then you'll be able to. Just make only 8 Elli Leaves and have only your hoe and hammer and you'll be good to go.

I have another way of getting to the lower levels... save after you get to a level, then dig around until you find the stairs - then remember where those stairs are! then hoe (and break any stones you need to to get there) in that one place - can get down quite far - I still get bored though. xp

Yeah, that's what you do to get all the way down. And you bring 8 Elli Leaves with you.

You dig to the 255th level of the mine. (I don't know which one).

Also, if you couldn't make enough of the leaves mentioned, while looking for the stairs, look around for black grass. It'll get three hits back. Or so.

I used that mining trick with two files and I got down to the 41st level and went back up cuz I was bored.
