Whether I'm pregnant or not I don't know. Its too soon to take any at home tests and a lady at Planned Parenthood said that for a blood test I need to come in two weeks before my next missed period. So..
I've got six months to get my Hepatitis B shots in order to enroll in nursing school in January. I've heard that if you're pregnant that getting your Hepatitis B shots are a big no-no. Do you happen to know why this is?
If I am pregnant, I dont want to take any sort of risks but I dont know if what I've heard is true or not.

I did a google search, and from what I gather, it is safe to have a Hepatitis B shot any time during pregnancy. Because, Hep. B is passed on during labor or delivery.
And since you still have 6 months to get them, I'd wait to see if you even are pregnant. If you are you should probably talk to your doctor before you get the shots just to make sure its ok. 3nodding

I Jeeves it and a website came up saying that the Hep. B shot is not something you want to do when you're pregnant, but it gives no explanation as to why.

Taken from the actual CDC website: Quote: These vaccines should not be administered to persons with a history of hypersensitivity to any vaccine component, including yeast. The vaccine contains a recombinant protein (HBsAg) that is noninfectious. Limited data indicate that there is no apparent risk of adverse events to the developing fetus when hepatitis B vaccine is administered to pregnant women. HBV infection affecting a pregnant woman can result in serious disease for the mother and chronic infection for the newborn. Neither pregnancy nor lactation should be considered a contraindication for vaccination. So it would be fine.
