I think it would be cool if NASCAR lined up all the cars on pit road before the race started then made the drivers run from the pit boxes to the cars and strap themselves in when the green flag waved. Just a thought. What do you guys think?

that or it would be cool if they started the race like formula 1 where they have all the cars stoped then wave the green flag. always fun to watch those starts.

I don't think the running out to strap in is a good idea, purely from a safety standpoint. I mean, drivers would be rushing to get things done, and maybe skipping things, like a HANS just to get out quicker.
I would love to see NASCAR do a standing start though.

A standing start would be pretty risky but interresting. Actually I used to think that's how they did it, before I actually watched Nascar.

Yah that would be preety fun if they ran away into the car!! but i also think that if they did that they might mess up putting on the belts right or the HANS device!!!! but i also think running would be fun to!!!
