Well this has nothing to do with music, but when I was younger, I once had a novel based on the Doom video game. The cover had that classic Doom look of the guy dressed in green armor blasting demons in a Hell-like setting with a shotgun I think.
I remember there was something strange about it because everytime I held it in my hands, I felt a strange feeling come over me like something evil was watching me, and at the time, I believed it was just bad luck having it. There was one time when I was reading it for short time, I felt something moving beside me, so I looked over and there was a big spider crawling on my wall right next to me! That normally doesn't happen where I live, and that wasn't the only time that I had a weird case of "bad luck" with it either lol.
Don't get me wrong, I find nothing wrong with video games, and I'm not bashing them either, but it was just a weird experience :/.
