I haven't had a fossil in my town since the acorn festival. The only cracks in the ground are pitfall seeds. I've tried digging them up without falling in them first but it doesn't make a difference. I've already completed the fossil section in my museum, so is that why I can't find anymore?
Can anyone help me? Bones really wants a fossil, (well, I know he used to, but he's been sick for a while) but I can't find any. sad

You'll still get fossils even after you complete the museum. Since it's autumn and its hard to see the cracks but they are there. You just gotta really look for them. I sometimes have to circle my town 5 to 6 times to find them all.

 On the other hand, in winter they're really easy to find! They really show up on the snow!

I've been having this problem as well!
The only stars that I can see are pitfalls.

I find loads of those Oid things in the holes these days but I also find myself falling in more than I'm digging!
