A little grasshopper leapt from one blade of grass to another. Peeking over the grass, a pair of pale pale blue eyes watched with utter delight. Brown ears perked up, Mut readied herself to pounce. She'd been stalking the grasshoppers that filled the grasses near Pride Rock, utterly amused by them. The trees rustled with the wind, as did the grass, and Mut watched in fascination as the blades bent to the powerful force. What made it do that? Where did the wind ruffling through her coat come from? She looked back at the grasshopper, only to find it gone. A morning of stalking and it was gone... With a sigh, she sat down to ponder what to do now.

Roho'wa Mamake had been wandering quite happily along, minding his own business, taking a break from chasing anything that was smaller than him and moved within his sight - leaves, feathers, small birds that took off the second he moved, insects, small furred critters. He didn't really care what it was; he just liked to run and chase things. If he could not find anything to chase, he simply ran. He was a strong, fit, athletic type - or would be, when he wasn't a roly-poly cub.
But that grasshopper that had escaped his sister found him quick enough. It flashed through the left side of his vision, taking him by surprise. So much so that he actually let out a small, startled yell and jumped back a few paces. Of course, when he saw what had made him react so, he growled a typical cub growl that was more amusing than intimidating in any fashion. And then he pounced it.
Second shock in less than sixty seconds: he caught it. And for a moment, he just sat still, rather surprised by this turn of events. Then it began to try and get free, wriggling in his grip and tickling his sensitive pads. His paws twitched away as helpless laughter bubbled up out of him, and his irksome prey made its escape.
Grumbling softly to himself, he laid down where he was, flicking his tail behind him. He had yet to notice his sister, despite being nearby her. The bug had distracted him.

Laughter reached the little female's ears, causing her head to pop up over the grass. A grin of excitement crossed her face as she dropped back down to all fours, stalking around her brother. Roho could be a good target to pounce, yes... It excited her as she stalked carefully through grass, getting within pouncing range.

Now, Roho was not the most observant cub in the world. He hadn't noticed Mut originally, and he did not notice her movement as she noticed him. Nor did he see her creeping through the grasses, getting ready to attack him. No, Roho just allowed his body to roll until he was on his back, paws against his chest as he stared up at the clouds floating past way up above.

Crouching and wiggling her rump slightly in a most unhuntress-like way, Mut grinned before pouncing on her brother with a mock roar. This was better than hunting grasshoppers and small rodents!

Roho squeaked as he heard the roar and felt his sister pounce on him, squashed beneath her weight, and he wriggled wildly for a few moments as his mind got over yet another shock.
Of course, once that passed and he actually looked at who had jumped him, all wriggling stopped and he began giggling instead. "Mut!" he said delightedly, happy as always to see his sister, batting his paws on top of her head.
