Dani Hibiki I just started, is there anything I need to make sure I do? Not that I know of, if you just started you should be fine for a while, there isn't anything special that you can't get later in the very beginning. There is however a couple other things that are hard to get, so let me know if you want me to tell you how.

*bangs head* finished it, but I never did get all the Kinstones fused.
*bangs head again* now I have to start all over again (according to gamefaqs, some are only available early on)
So, uh, new question, how do I make sure I have them all?

The only real way would be to talk to everyone you can and explore thoroughly after each dungeon.
