If I were a Cyberman, and my emotions got turned back on, I'd probably just say, "Hey! What the hell?" and maybe get really angry, but come on. Even if I tried, I doubt I would explode...unless they have "OH NOES" bombs built into their heads.
I know I'm kind of nagging you now, but you would explode. Your brain wouldn't be able to take the shock and it would just shut down. It might not explode but you'd just plain switch off.
As I said, they would only explode if they have bombs. I suppose the emotion could end up sending commands everywhere, perhaps triggering a self-destruct mechanism. But that seems highly unlikely. Personally, I think it's not that big a deal. I spend most of my free time tinkering with computer code anyway. Not that big a change really.
