They're very very cute. >w<
I only hope that they're okay (the creators said Jet died, but they said nothing about Longshot and Smellerbee!), and that we get to see them again in the series. Perhaps in the final battle?

Yeah, you're probably right.
In the end, I bet there will be an omega battle, simmilar to the one in Tolkien's "The Hobbit," where all the different people from all the different places will come to take out the Fire Nation.
They will probably show up then.
