ok in the first volume of negima you know how they have that double picture of "everyone" in the class well i may just be imagining it but i dont see the person that sooo many people like that was number one in the polls for like ever find out who

Last I remember, shown in the English manga anyway, Makie and Setsuna (best characters! heart ) were both tops. Is it one of them?

Yeesh, that picture was cropped pretty poorly.
Makie is definately there, although she does look a little different from how she normally seems. She's on the left page with the other athletes: just to Yuuna's right, below Misora, and left of Ako. Ah, that's it, no little ties in her hair. You can still tell it's her though by the leotard and she's holding the ribbon in her right hand.
