The cover is dry and cracked, the pages are ratty and dirty. This tome has seen better days, and yet the majority of the pages are left blank. A crimson bookmark with a bright gold tassel marks a page somewhere in the middle of the book. Opening it, you see this page is littered with indistinguishable ink blots and scribbles, moving and writhing around like little black snakes.
