I have to say, Veronica's Mystery of the Week method of running around accusing people until she finds the right person is really grating.

Wallace! Wallace!!!!!! I might cry. So did he tell the prof. what was up at the end? That's what I thought was happening, but with the complete lack of dialogue.

I'm liking Keith's part of the show more and more and more. While I have to say that the kid's real dad was kind of a jerk, in the beginning, the Dean and wife were really really awful. Rather than appealing to his decency, which probably would have worked, they more or less COMMAND him. That pretty much never works. Also, more Keith and Lamb scenes, please! And more Cliff! He always makes me laugh.

Heh, so Logan and Veronica went as the White Stripes, right? Heh. Given the White Stripes media history and the shows past storylines, that's hilarious.

OMG Blonde Little Girl was FOUL.

Also, it's looking like maybe Claire wasn't really raped. Crossing my fingers. I thought it might be a ploy to get the Pi Sigs from the moment it was TEXT MESSAGED to the other uber-fem.

I have to say, Veronica's Mystery of the Week method of running around accusing people until she finds the right person is really grating.

That has really been getting to me too. What happened to the other detective methods and approaching people nicely? It also makes the mysteries so predictable because then you know all the people she's accusing are innocent and once it gets toward the end of the episode then she has the right guy.

At the same time I can sort of see why she'd accuse Weevil but she didn't have to be so I don't know bitchy about it. She's accused Weevil of things before but it's never been that harsh and Weevil has sort of found it sort of amusing.

I'm kind of pissed that they brought up the fact that Weevil thought Logan abused her in an ambigous way again and still didn't clear it up. Hey Rob, not everyone reads your TV Guide interviews and the newbies now think Logan treated Lilly badly.

Logan and Weevil scene wee! "Jose Lunchpail" I'm surprised they withheld from a big makeout after being appart so long.

I loved Lamb. His robot dance and scene with Logan and Weevil were hilarious. I love the background guy too with the "The cheif's doing the robot, get my camera phone!" or something like that. I liked how Lamb pointed out to Veronica that sometimes the proper channels do work!

I need a Wallace and Veronica BFF storyline. Wallace's test thing was kind of boring and it felt so off since he had no scenes with any other established characters on the show. I love Wallace but the only seperate storyline of his I've enjoyed was his whole dad thing. I'm not sure if Wallace told on the "tutor" on his test booklet or actually cheated but if he did cheat he's really bad at it. You do not go from failing to finishing first and getting them all right.

I liked Keith's storyline and yay Cliff! It was fun to see Daran Norris's voice work being used on VM. I don't get why Keith was kind of rude to the random LA police man. I get with Lamb, but the guy from LA was just doing his job and following up on a lead and I thought as a former officer himself he'd be more respectful but whatever it was fun.

I knew it had something to do with the little girl as soon as we saw her, because why else would she be there.

I'm glad Veronica followed the lead on the ATM photo, I was afraid she wouldn't. Though obviously it couldn't be him since he was just some random dude and it's only episode 5. I'm pretty sure that Claire faked her rape. The rapist hadn't been known to be raping the girls in the park anyway.

Sure, the show's named after her, but still.
Wallace needs to have some fun by himself once in a while.
Although The Fun didn't look enjoyable at all.

I believe this one is going to last for nine episodes.
Four more episodes to go before it's resolved!!

They want to get more people hooked on it, and it's hard if you start in the middle and have no idea what's going on.
Shorter mysteries, hopefully, will solve that problem, and then more people will watch it and THEN...
Veronica will get a 4th season!!!

Okay, I completely agree with the Wallace-didn't-really-cheat-he-confessed theory. Mostly because Wallace might get a little misguided once in a while, but he's got a good heart and knows right from wrong.

Also I'm adding the campus security guys to the rape suspect list. They're basically rent-a-cops and clearly can't be trusted in their jobs to protect and solve crime. I don't necessarily think that they personally did it, but I think they may have had a hand in diagnosing the rapes. They would've been the ones to give the rape kit. We've also seen the less-than-stellar police in Neptune in action and I don't think Campus security is any exception.

I'm going to have to side with Claire on who the guy in the photo was. I believe she may have lied about something in this investigation, but I find it hard to believe that she would've said she didn't know him if he was at any point her boyfriend. I'm going to have to wait for some clarification on either side. And since she was one of the femisists going against the frat I believe it may have been a setup. Maybe she volunteered to be "raped" and sent a message during the radio broadcast as the signal. I don't think it's beneath these women to setup the frat as it was allegedly going on during the Halloween party, while they set up the "grope-room" trap. And since the whole newspaper-thing, I'm taking everything Nish says with a grain of salt.

I must've been the only one not realizing that Logan and Veronica went as the White Stripes. It makes sense now, but I didn't realize it while watching. And I guess Mercer was some guy from 'A Clockwork Orange' I thought he looked like somebody from Panic! At The Disco but whatever.

Final Note: just a few more episodes until this rape thing is solved and I still have no idea who it was. Every episode seems to bring more suspects. And if I have to sit through another episode of Veronica pinning the crime on everyone until she finds the right person, which she seems to be doing with the rape mystery too, I'm going to scream. What happend to the old Veronica who questioned and thought things out and didn't tip her hand to everyone and his brother before finding the criminal. Sorry Rob, but you're losing me a little here.

So on rewatch I'm still kind of annoyed by Mars's attitutudes. And I just realized that Claire's boyfriend is named Wang. I've never heard that as a first name before. Hehe, I'm so immature. Maybe he's the Asian d**k.

I don't the idea of Wallace having his own story, it's just that the writers haven't done a good job with Wallace's seperate storylines. I remember Wallace's scenes with Jackie toward the end of the last season often felt out of place. This one was just plain boring and felt like a waste of Wallace.

And his random friend kind of annoyed me. Hopefully Piz will fill the role of Wallace's non-Veronica friend more often.

I also miss his BFF scenes with Veronica and it would be nice to be reminded that they're still best friends.

Actually I knew about it when Rob first asked for suggestions for the fans about the idea biggrin I just know that it won't be solved until episode 9 so still it obviously couldn't be Wang.

I know, I miss when she went out with the whole detective thing and considered all her options. I don't really see how her random accusing gets her anywhere. I hated how she immediatley told Wang's roomate what she suspected him of. And she is snitty with nearly everyone she questions. Couldn't she have at least been nice to the cute boy that was hero-worshiping her?

I'm also not that intrigued by the mystery but I'm hoping that this arc is mostly to introduce the new world to build the next to arcs on. I'm interested and entertained and everything, but I'm not on the edge of my seat either and avoiding spoilers that will tell me who it was like I was with Lilly's murder.

I think a spoiler thread should go the main forum, preferably with spoiler in big letters so I don't get confused. I looked, and I couldn't see a thread specifically for spoilers.
