DICTIONARIES/GRAMMAR BOOKS ETC

In English:

Online Dictionaries and Learning Aids:
A - Highly detailed. Contains links to three different dictionaries, Assyrian grammar aid, and other resources. Good place to get things started in.
B - Dictionary; currently under construction...
C - Dictionary, fonts, spell-check and more.

Langauge Books

In Arabic:
A - Comprehensive basic information about Aramaic.

In Hebrew:

Language Books:
A - Yemenite Aramaic
B - Biblical Aramaic (I'm using that one and so far, I'm pretty pleased. Former knowledge of linguistics is quite necessary.)
C - Modern Western Aramaic

If anyone here has any other reccommendations for websites/dictionaries/grammar books etc, please feel free to tell us about them in this thread.

I started studying Aramaic today and I will post interesting stuff I learn about it here.

My grandfather spoke it, his father lived in a village where it was still spoken. I just about screamed when I found out my mom had the opportunity to learn it from him but didn't.

I like the way it sounds, but I only here is in movies like "The Passion of the Christ" and "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". Wow, I have seen too many religious movies, and I do not even have a religion
