When do you think the publishers are going to notice that we're of the disbelieving that the lady they put on the covers of our copies of the books is so definetly not Anita?
For the US readers, our covers are different to yours. They put a lady on ours, she's on all the books (I'll find a pic in a bit), and they want you to believe it's meant to be Anita Blake... No.
The lady on the covers has pierced ears and, I do believe, Laurell K Hamilton has let it be known to us on more than one occassion that Anita Blake does not have pierced ears.
I wonder if the publishers know this?

i dont think they really care i think they are gust trying to give the books a sexy feel personaly i really like the old book covers with the drawings they rocked

I know, I don't know who that lady is on the cover but she definitely isn't Anita Blake xp She has pierced ears (Like you pointed out), her hair looks kinda straight (From what I can see) and she looks kinda... manly. I always imagine Anita as fairly pretty. If whoever had done the cover art had taken time to read the books, or at least a description of Anita the covers could have been so much better.
