((Look, because YOU adapt doesnt mean the star does. I may have read your post the wrong way, but the star is not an extension of you and therefore does not gain the nullifacation benefit. It is a different structure entirely. No Im not saying that this the void is all consuming in an instant. More like a steady drain, much like your mist, which Im guessing has either left completely or you have called it off by the way your OOC griping states. Secondly, if I change the flow, you should have to re-adapt as it becomes something new. I have put up with alot of crap from this fight, inculding dodges that should be nigh impossible from a giant and the fact that you use other beings to block yourself, which is like using a minion. Your complete and total immunity to physical attacks is just short of godmodding, and you assume alot of things connect as well, i.e. autohitting, but you arent so bad about that. Im not editing. Either post your response in a reasonable manner, surrender and go on to one of your other fights in the five or six tournament slots you have, or go b***h in the OOC forums about me. Maybe Im in the wrong about some things, but at least my post has some logic to it. Yours was vague, so I had to assume things. One way or the other, the star is going to be sucked up as it comes down into the void. I call it a void for, in essence, it is all consuming nothingness given form. That was basically making fun of a name. You dont see me cracking off immature jokes about your Crimson Mist, so just drop it. I respect you as a fighter, even if my RPC does act like an a*****e on occasion. And no this isnt my best attack, and I dont assume it works completely. I made it up like 3 months ago because of people like you, Mr. 'Oh Im made of Light so you cant hurt me". Yes, other people do what you are doing right now, and its totally pointless. Please just post, quit, or go complain. You'll find that alot of other people see things my way.))

((First of all, did it occur to you that the light had to have some medium to condense into in order to form the star? Yeah, thats Mindblaze's will, and he altered the energy just like he did the Avatar's body. The mist is still around and isn't going anywhere until you find a better way to get rid of it.))

((If you change the flow, I want to see it hurt you and then I'll re-adapt. Because if it doesn't hurt you, then it won't hurt my character as the energy signatures are the same.))

((A giant made of light has next to no mass, and he can move at incredible speeds. Shoiw me real world physics applying to a being built of light and energy and you can tell me what is and is not possible in terms of movement.))

((Using another being to block I have done, but that being was one piece of Mindblaze, who is made up of 4950 minds. I already addressed that block and figured you accepted it. Furthermore, the Avatar is NOT immune to physical attacks. He is immune to energy and energy drain attacks, for the most part. Trying to split him in the half was the smartest thing you've done all fight and you don't even realize it. He is energy contained in a shell. ******** up the shell enough and the energy is released, he loses form, and DQs due to becoming incoporeal.))

((You still didn't address my action of trying to pick your character up. You only mentioned trying to ******** up the star, which wasn't even in range for more than a moment before it merged with the Avatar. For all I know you're accepting the action of being picked up and will thusly allow me to continue.))

((Ok I read your post wrong. You made it sound like the raw energy was going to crash into me from either side. I did not realize you were trying to make it part of your form. I dont agree with the aura void change hurting me, but Ill comply. We seemed to have an error in communication here. Look, Im not here to gripe in OOC. Im here to fight and, with a little luck win. We'll just have to agree to disagree and move on, because this OOC whining is why I left Gaia in the first place. I have only recently come back. Fair enough?))

Bel sighed and shook his head as he let the void slip away. This wasnt working. He was getting no where by exuding all of this effort for naught. The mist flowed back in around him as he pulled his sword out the Earth and slung it once more over his shoudlers, but his faint purple glow fought on, Bel feeding it a fraction of his power at a time to allow it to protect him from the mist. Avatar had to be running out of energy soon, didnt he? The next thing he noticed where the two gigantic, ethereal hands attempting to snatch him up in their firey grasp and do God knows what with his body. In a fraction of a second he threw his blade out in front of him, meeting to oncomeing hands head on as he slashed at them furiously, his right arm and the Requiem becoming a violent black and gold blur as he thrusted, slashed, parried and jabbed, the Dark Lord bobbing and weaving top evade the snatches and grabs of the two huge aphendages, his movements fluid and graceful like a flowing river of pitch black, ice cold water. His blue eyes held a glint of curiosity and interest. No enemy had withstood him this long. The Hellfire Annihilation was one of his more flashy attacks and usually got the job done, but it was not his full potential. For now he decided to fall back on his physical prowess and wait, studying the Avatar's every move with a hungry mind and a wary glare, ready to dodge and move in case some kind of energy attack was thrown at him from nowhere.

((Lets get this back underway, eh?))

The first few slashes cut open the giant hands and unleashed hell upon Bel, the backlash of damaging his physical shell being that he bleeds just like a star would. The hands quickly retreat as Bel begins going berserker on the two offending appendages, a screech filling the air at his pain. Even as the second star continued to grow overhead the two forms seemed to pull back away from Bel. The two looked at each other through a conjoined mind and moved quickly, both aiming to stomp the ground on either side of Bel. The effect would not only ******** up the ground, but create a massive blast of rock and concussive force with the purpose of trying to knock Bel around a bit.

"So we can hurt it." Bel said grimmly, his voice still displaying the god-like tones and chords within it as he threw the Requiem up in front of him, holding the handle with his right and placing his left palm on the flat to reinforce it. Like this, he weathered the blast with minimum damage. In spite of the heat of the fires lapping at him from all directions, the amrour and weapon remained as cold as ice. Yet another attack was close to follow. Bel surged back, the shock of the attack still rocking him and causing him to fly bck a few more feet than he should have. His black cape fluttered about him like it had a life of hits own, the ornate fabric being ripped off by the force of the ground slam.

It just doesnt end... The Dark Lord thought to himself as he landed on his feet and slid back a few feet on the cold black stone, the Requiem quickly being reshoulderedas he stepped forward with his left foot and grabbed hold of the Requiem with both hands, holding the massive sword almost as if it was a bat. With a titanic effort, he quickly turned his whole body, throwing out his right foot after the 360 degree pivot, swinging his weapon with every once of strength he could muster and letting it go as it was in front of him. Then the sword did something unexpected. It flew, not unlike a boomerang, whirling though the air and threatening to rip one of the hands (the hand on the right to be particular) wide open, the well aimed toss reaching the hand quickly as it ripped into the air and created a wail not unlike that of one thousand screaming souls. This was a variation of what Bel liked to do with his cross, even if this required a little more force to throw.

The blade would be sent spinning through the air and the hands would move, passing mostly out of the way of the spinning blade rather quickly. The right hand was caught, but damage was minimal as a small blast sent the blade spinning off in a random direction, unable to return by the same process that had sent it spinning. The Crimson Mists began to set themselves against Bel in earnest, congregating around him to drain off the aura he was feeding to keep the Mists at bay. Lines of energy would begin linking to the aura and stream out into the mists, the number growing rapidly. The number of lines and 'density' of the mists would be accompanied by an exponential drain upon the aura itself, and should it break through that, Bel himself.

((Sorry guys I have had one rough ******** week...))

Bel chuckled and tutted softly, sticking out his hand and wagging his right index finger at the giant hands.

"I would have thought that you of all people would have realized that you wouldnt get off that easily!" he called, his voice rising and falling with the moans in his hellish chorus, his aura becoming a conglagaration of black fire as he changed sheilds, the mist slippeing from him. His resistance aura was worn out. It needed time to recharge. He was using raw shadow flame now, and, though it was potent, it was rather unstable. His image began to warp and twist with the mutating powers of the nether. He only needed a little while, but he would not allow the mist to touch him at any cost. Even as he made his taunt, the blade that had been send whirling off in another direction banked sharply in the air, increasing spinning speed and velocity as it howled back towards the hands, ready to rip them both to shreds, punching through the right before rending the left hand to peices in its own turn. The Requiem seemed to have a life of its own, the golden runes glittering and the double edges enamting a pale, sickly violet shimmer, the graund under its shadow quaking at the mughty sonicboom it caused. It the blade didnt hit the hands, the boom most certainly would. At least, Bel hoped it would.

One would certainly hope the blade did NOT have a mind of its own and was not acting of its own free will. Was it truly acting independently of Bel?

With such a ponderance put on the back burner the flames around Bel would not retain any stability, Mindblaze's will reaching out to the flame component to push it off the edge, so to speak. Even if the flame was burning of a different source than normal fire, he seemed to have influence over any medium that acted like flame. The hands, meanwhile, returned to a state of invisibility as they retracted, leaving no target for the blade to strike. The ensuing shockwave from the blade's passing pushed both of the great monoliths back and away from Bel's location. High above the star continued to grow in strength as a crimson light began to fill the air. As opposed to normal light this glow was infused with Mindblaze's malign will and could not be snuffed out immediately by opposing control of light or shadow. Just what was his plan with this crimson lightshow?

Bel grunted as the flame was pulled away from him, shaking it off and allowing his aura to flow once more. It wasnt ready yet, but it could hold off for long enough. The sword banked once more, whipping about and soaring right back towards Bel with all of the speed and fury of a class 5 hurricane. Bel did not panic in the slightest, snatching it out of the air as if it were made of balsa wood and brandishing it over his head before allowing it to fall directly back on his shoulders with a loud clutter, The Dark Lord unclasping the chain that held the tattered remains of his once proud cloak in place. The extra fabric fluttered away in the wind, though Bel seemed no less imposing. Now that his blade was back with him, he was able to resist the crimson mist a little bit better, though not as well as he would have liked. It now felt like an itch, and itch that would not go away no matter how hard he scratched.

"What fool's game are you playing at, Avatar? Show yourself." he commanded, looking about him and ready to move at the slightest provocation.

The ambient light levels began to rise dramatically, the air growing thick with the ominous feeling of dread. Malign will began to condense as flashes of light began to rush at Bel from several angles. Each one seemed to be aimed to attack him in some way, but they were all just tricks of the light. However, once Bel stopped reacting to them, if he did at all, the true attack would come. One of the giant forms would sweep in with a kick from behind at incredible speeds aimed to send Bel flying. The star kept growing...

Bel glanced all around him , flashes of light going off all around his body. None of them seemed to have any effect of him, but he tightened his grip on the long shaft of the Requiem as the kick came towards him, the Dark Lord quickly throwing out his weapon in front of him and blocking it with two hands, his right on the handle and his left palm pushed up against the broad flat of the double edged sword.. The shock run up his arms and sent him sliding back in the loose gravel that was not the arena floor, kicking up a cloud of dust as friction sent him to a halt. He reacted quickly, slashing in front of him quickly and viciously with a horizontal rend.

It was all well and good to block an attack coming from the front, but the strike had been aimed to kick Bel from behind. Apparently the crimson bursts of light did their job in confusing the poor man into blocking an attack that would not come. Even as Bel was punted from his position the crimson liht field continued to grow in strength, as did the star. Furthermore, while Bel was in motion from the kick one of the two would move to punch him with incredible speed. Perhaps fighting two huge invisible foes wasn't as easy as it seemed.
