What do the new specialists do? I see some like Mediater and I don't know what they do. sweatdrop
Some are obvious, like Professionals, but the Mediater, Collector, and a few others are beyond me. Could you list each specialist, their benefit, and max level? Please?

What do Scrolls do?
How are weights used?
I equip weights and they don't really do much until the character dies. Then his or her stats increase a little and the weight is gone. confused

Bunger. . . neutral {Edit:} IGN Message Board Anyone know the purpose of the "Power Weight" "Hit weight" items? They seem like a complete waste of an item slot to me, making your health only 25% of max and cannot be healed. I thought maybe they would increase the rate in which stats increase when you level, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone know? --Bilinear_Albion The purpose of the weights is for some classes such as the ninja get special moves. Some include: a ninja will dodge a lot when they have low hp and a samurai will some times get off a move that will kill no matter how much hp the opponent has. I don't use them unless I'm power leveling because one hit death really sucks, but once you're really high level the 25% HP disadvantage won't be so noticeable.
--dude6986Makes sense. Somewhere, I read that scrolls give the user an A rank in the weapon they're used for. I suppose that would make it much easier to learn skills, yes?

New question. . . How does one get "Lover" specialists? I seem to be able to kill hundreds of creatures without changing my equipment and not get any Lovers on my gear. Then I reincarnate and one of them gets a lvl 3 Lover. Do I have to reincarnate for it to happen, or did I just not notice it until then?

Yes you get them by doing 100s of battles just keep fighting and they appear sometimes with a greater chance of appearing the more battles you do
Lovers are some of the best specalists because they improve all your stats and your special ability so rozalin with 3 level 25 lovers on her would give 100% bonuses to male units
scrolls however give you one rank up in that particular weapon
so if you were B you would have A and if you were C you would have B
however the acception to this rule is people with A they gain 120% bonus damage and 120% faster Mastery
so its worth equiping them no matter what

Getting a Lover Specialist isn't determined by how many monsters you kill, it's how many battles you finish. That last part is important if you're going through the Item World as any level you use a portal of any kind in doesn't count towards that.
