Do you think the Duke will make Sandry his heir? It's slightly hinted of in Will of the Empress. So do you want him too? Think that if so the others would be advisors or something?

Sandry is already working as his heir while he's sick. He cares about her a lot if she doesn't become his heir it would be her choice and she would hand pick a consel or something to run things. She likes being in charge and having a say but I think she likes just as much not having to be so worried that everything it up to her and she has to make a decision.

I definetely believe he will make her his heir, if he hasn't already. And yeah the others will most likely be advisor or something

I'm pretty sure Sandry will be the heir, and like Dovasary said, I read in the book that the duke's son is useless and a greedy pig.

She has to. And, because Tris happens to be quite smart, she's most likely going to end up as a royal advisor and weather mage. Like she said: where is she going to go? Briar might live there, but will most likely just be a friend, as will Daja. Maybe the royal gardener and blacksmith. xd But yeah. That has to be what happens to Sandry and the others.

I was just thinking that first of all, the other heir may not be exactly happy about it and who wants to execute their relatives?... well maybe some people xd
but also while I think she would be great at it, I also wonder that she wouldnt like some of the restrictions that go with it. She couldnt just go into the city, they would want her to take a guard and I bet the rest of the court wouldnt be happy with her running off to save some street kid or what they deem a nobody

I should think so. She's definitely up to the task [and has taken care of the task], and he seems to care about her more then any.
