I officially declared my minor in music with a concentration in vocal performance last week.
Well, technically not officially. McConnell wants me to wait another week because some of the classes that I'm required to take are still waiting for approval from the board. But I have the forms. And they're all filled out and sitting on my desk.
I'm excited. And I'm taking Piano next semester. It's about time I learned to play, I figure. I'm also hoping that that will sharpen my reading skills enough that I can skip Music Fundamentals and go straight to Basic Musicianship next year.
So yes. I'm officially studying music now. whee
