Ravenclaw common room, which leads into the different dorm rooms. It is a place for Ravenclaws to relax, sleep and do homework etc...

Allison sat in front of the fireplace in the Ravenclaw common room, doing her homework. She looked around the room. No one else was in there, at the moment. She glanced at the clock. Whoops. It was dinner time. She put her homework on a table and got up from the couch where she was sitting and walked out, heading down the stairs.

Cloud-obscured sunlight peeked in through the minute glass panes that flanked the Ravenclaw common room, signifying that the time was about an hour since dawn had arrived. Elliot had woken up just before then, and after getting a mug of piping hot honeyed tea, he's spent the hour curled up against one side of the couch in front of the fireplace, reading up on a book from one of his classes. The fire that once burned considerably earlier had been reduced to a pile of red-hot embers, and Elliot entertained the idea of putting another log on them, but didn't want to risk getting out of the blanket he'd wrapped around himself.
The sound of bare feet against the stone steps leading up to the female students' sleeping quarters shook him out of his academic trance, and looked towards the staircases as Robin descended into the common room. They blinked at one another for a moment, as if only half-surprised that the other was up so early, then greeted each other with a friendly smile.
"Still not quite used to sleeping in for a change yet?" Elliot asked.
Robin's free-flowing golden blonde hair swished briefly as she shook her head, having not yet tied her hair into pigtails with the purple ribbons she held in one hand. "Not completely. It's been a while since I've had time to sleep that wasn't interrupted by a call from the STN-J... but I think I'm getting over it faster than I thought."
"I imagine you would, after all that," Elliot replied quietly, though still a little concerned for the welfare of his friend.

Nic threw back the covers on her four poster bed and sighed, 'another day' she thought...
life had become rather dreary no males catching her eye, no interesting new charms to learn all warming up for the year. Starting some new subjects should have thrilled her out of boredum, it just hasnt happened yet.
She jumped out of bed and pulled on her crisp uniform thinking 'this does nothing for my figure, oh well time to go'
she padded down the stairs to the common room looking for conversation.

While allowing herself to become lost in a trance of the dancing flames in the fireplace in the common room, she felt a light tap on the shoulder.
"Huh?" she turned around with a start. She was facing a guy who looked around her age with sandy blonde hair and eyes like the sea after a storm.
"...Hi" She started.
"Hey there, i've been watching you the past few days, wondering where you were hiding out, i didn't even know you were in my house." He said, "I'm Shannon." He extended his hand which Nic clasped and felt his firm handshake, with a smile she replied, "Im Nicolette I prefer Nic. and i've never seen you around here before, are you new this year."
"You'll just have to figure that one out." With a smile that made Nic's heart melt, he turned and exited the room.
Nic then turned to A girl sitting on a nearby couch, "Who was that guy?"
