Silly me, I thought hardcore meant having to be really good at games so I voted no. If it's about odd games that are kind of out of mainstream I suppose I could be considered hardcore though. A short list of games I enjoy:
Thief
Hitman
The Elder Scrolls
Planescape: Torment
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura
Fallout
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
Alpha Centauri
Deus Ex
The Longest Journey
Crackdown (demo only so far but I can't wait for that game to come out)
System Shock
Condemned: Criminal Origins

Zettai Zetsumei Toshi (released as SOS: Escape for PS2 in the west)
Metroid
Carmageddon (only the first two for the PC)
Warcraft II
Dungeon Keeper
Ultima Underworld
