Ok,I was at karate we had a sleep over,and this girl,made a good point when we were talking,she said christians are basicly jewish,because of our savior was jewish.So our father had him come along to create a better jewish religion but came out christianity....
True or False?

Kinda. While Jesus was the Jewish messiah, the fact that a majority of Jews don't believe that He was dictated the need for a new name for those who did. Plus, since Jesus fufilled the Old Covenant and ushered in the New one, the religions of Judeism and Christianity are rather different.

well....actually i concider them to be one in the same. i look at Christianity as just another sect of judism, the main reason being b/c Christ didn't comet o destroy the old covenant with the world but to complete it and make it so that everyone could come to God. and of course the only reason for this is b/c the jews failed in their mission to tell the world about God and his love for us. but really we are just a part of them.
back with the first church [before we were known as Christians] we were concidered to be a sect of the jews. basically just a continueation of them. while yea the majority of jews don't believe Jesus is the messiah, even they still concidered us a part of the jews....although they didn't think we were correct in what we believed so they didn't really associate with us to much. and then we were finally seperated from them with constantine made Christianity the state religion. at that point we were thought osf as being completely different. which...we're not really. but yeah..
