Most of my best and worst stories are connected, so I'm just going to ramble for a bit... sweatdrop
My first event was a trunk, which I opened and got a cross collar. While holding the auction I got a pink box. I can't remember exactly what I got, but it included a lot of Novembers, OMGs, and AFKs. 'Course then I blew it all selling them for gold when the market was flooded instead of saving them. Well, it would have been blowing it, if I hadn't used the gold to buy a sash for 9K, which I made an even trade for a devil tail with when the sash didn't match my outfit. sweatdrop
Last week I found an OMG in the vend for 3K. eek But then I just had to trade it back for the same amount. (Stupid conscience... xp ) I don't think the girl even noticed until I PMed her about it...
And last month during the halloween item slump I bought a pair of jack shoes for 24K, then sold them the next day for 40K. xd

god i wish i had saved all my items instead of donating them to kitten and her panda hat quest
3 omg hats, nm haedband, angelic sash, and mini's
at the time i didn't know the difference between donation items and regular ones..........i felt like a fool when i discovered the difference in december i just about killed myself lol

Best? I dunno, really... >.> Never been too much of an Exchange-player. Being ignorant enough of the Exchange in the end of August (first time I ever went there) to waste a whooping 8k and 8,5k on two Black Complex Jackets. Now where's the good part? I traded them for one of the August items each. whee I think everyone got happy from that. The people whose jackets were autobought for high prices, the people who got jackets for items that at the time were worth far less, and me who got two of the ten most expensive items on Gaia. 3nodding
Another good one is getting hold of 3 September letters for cheap. whee One of those made a perfect birthday gift later. Repeat for October. 3nodding
Worst? Paying for two September letters, but then never seeing the person who was supposed to donate or the letters. domokun I still stand in debt to the people who set up a collection to return funds or letters to the people who got scammed - and that month probably had the worst letter-scamming on Gaia. heart

Got a great deal for the sealed letters (Sept. letter)
I have angelic gloves and this girl wanted angelic gloves and she's willing to offer 4 sealed letters for it when angelic gloves are around 8k whee
I had to take it...
It's great finding deals like this whee
