Covet was humming softly to herself as she strolled along the beach of Port Cepehei. She loved the beach, the salty air, the waves crashing on the sand. It was her favorite place to find herself and after the the last events that had almost lost her Mecca, she was in desperate need of some meditation. Tucking some of her royal purple hair back behind her ear she thought about how much her life had changed in such a short span. It had been so long since she had truly seen a friendly face, she was beginning to wonder if anyone liked to smile as much as she once had anymore.

Jinta was bored. He had been staying inside all day and wanted some fresh air. He got onto his feet and started walking, his mind thinking where he would end up. All this was new to him and he was just getting used to it.

It wasn't very long till his feet touched the sandy shore. The view was beautiful. Everything was so calm. Looking briefly about, he thought no one was around and decided to let out some steam.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH..."

Covet jumped and blinked at the sudden intrusion to her quiet thoughts and peered around some rocks to see a new face. Smiling she fluffed her feathered wings and stepped out towards him.

"Are you alright?" she asked him, her green eyes taking him in carefully.

Jinta soften his shouting and completely stopped when someone spoke.

"Me? Oh, I'm fine. Just relieving a little stress" he gave his reply and a little smile. "Sorry to have bother you. My name is Jinta"

Tilting her head to the side, her smile warmed considerably at his lighthearted answer.
"It was no bother. Maybe I should consider doing the same," she replied, glancing out towards the waves and then back to him.
"My name is Covet. It's a pleasure meeting you Jinta. May I be so bold as to ask you what has gotten you so stressed?" she asked, stepping a little closer.

It was nice to see somebody else. Jinta always feel slightly lonely being alone most of the time. "Maybe you should. It's fun and easy and the ocean will always listen to you" he said and looked at the splashing waters.

After hearing the reply, he turned his head back. "Nice to meet you Covet." Jinta took a deep breath and breathe out slowly. "Well, you know. Personal stuff"

"Ah yes. I know that song and dance all too well," she smiled and winked at him before turning to look towards the seafront houses and shops.

"Say... would you like to come with me to Martiya? It's my cafe and it's just down the way a little bit. I have to start getting things in order again. I've been closed for the last couple of days, and I would really appreciate the company. That is... if you're not too busy of course?" she asked, looking back to Jinta with a bright smile. It had been such a long time since she had had a proper conversation with a fresh face.

Jinta smiled. It was nice to chat with someone with manners instead of just screaming at your face when you walk past. "Wow, you own a cafe? Cool." he was amazed. "I would love to go, if you don't mind"

"Of course I don't mind," she smiled warmly and led the way back up from the beach and onto the busy streets.

Martiya was not far, since she had simply made a slight detour on her way to the shop, wanting to be by the sea for a few moments. Smiling at Jinta, she unlocked the door and stepped inside the richly decorated cafe, though in the morning light it didn't seem to hold as much luster as it did in the evening with the warm glow of candles to create a soft atmosphere.

"Please, make yourself at home," she smiled, as she slipped past the tables towards the back of the shop where the kitchen was. "Would you like anything? Tea? Sweets?" she offered, turning back to look at him over her shoulder with a smile.

"Well, in that case, lead the way." Jinta smiled back and does a "this way please" action.

Jinta walked behind her and started to look about. It was nice staying here by the sea, so calm and peaceful but it would be nicer to have some place nice and dry to sit. Maybe a cookie or two would be better, the thought of this is making him hungry. it wasn't very long till he noticed the cafe in the distance. Once the door was open, he went inside and look around. It was rather calming to be here.

"Nice place. Tea would be nice, thank you." He gave a smile and looked around.

"Thank you," she smiled brightly and slipped into the back to make some tea for him. Returning, she held a book with a plate balanced on top of it filled with various cookies and sweet breads in one hand and two mugs of tea in the other. Sitting down at one of the cloth covered tables, she set everything down and gestured to the seat in front of her.

"Please, sit," she smiled, flipping open the book and pulling a pen out from behind her ear.
"Where are you from Jinta?" she asked, smiling brightly at him as she reached out for a cinnamon roll. "I hope you don't mind, I've got to take care of some business while we chat," she winked and took a small bite of her roll.
