Tigress Dawn Actually, that's why I like the General Discussion better. People there are a bit idiotic sometimes, but at least they're open minded and don't have an arrogance contest. >___<
But yeah, I've always wondered what Jesus was like as a kid. I can't imagine he was a little cherub. I mean, EVERYONE messes up some way or another, and Jesus was part human. Funny how people always ignore that last part. He was part human his whole life, which meant he most likely caused mischief with his powers (if he really had any) before getting serious about it. He was human- fully. His spirit was different though, his spirit was God's. Did you know the Ressurrection is as established as any other historical event, so Harvard guy, Simon Greenleaf (sp?) Flame me. I dare you. Invoke my WRATH!

ScarredImage I posted a question asking for peoples' opnions on what they thought Jesus was like as a teenager. If he was a typical teenage boy or if he was special in some way. Which brought someone to post this. flammer how DARE you mock Jesus by even posting (and thinking) something like that. I am not one to judge.....but the One who will is going to reject you by saying that he never knew you...just like you did to him...have you ever read Revelation(its the last book in the Bible)? you should.....and then tell me how you sleep at night. Now, being a fellow Christian I found this very...well...beyond rude and hurt I'd have to say preposterous! First off she says she isn't one to judge, but then she goes and judges anyway. That's a Christian no-no. Second, I wasn't mocking Jesus in any way shape or form. I just randomly thought "hmmm I wonder if Jesus masturbated or refused to clean his room ever" so I went and asked people what they thought. And third, I didn't post my opinion until after she posted so she certainly had no right to flame me saying I was going to be rejected and burn in Hell when she didn't even know my stand on it! Just more proof that people today are getting more aggressive and hateful towards each other over the little thing called religion. Especially those who pronounce love as the key ingredient of their religious beliefs!
Meh. It seems most people are making fun of Christianity now because of the majority of the Christians being...well, idiots.
But hey, there's Christians like me too! crying
But anyway, I really wish other Christians were more open-minded. I mean, come on! They're supposed to set good examples and be like Jesus and show His love! He's role-model!
Now on that part on Jesus being a teen. Well, if he were a teen and were here right now in present day, he would hang out with all the rejected kids, show them love and compassion and teach them to be great people in life; you know those annoying high school cliques. o_O
