i've started to notice factions around the game but i have no idea which are the best. or even waht they look like. i know one is the legion. teh dark grey steel armor users. but whata re the otehrs?

Thieves Guild, Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, Arena and the Dark Brotherhood are the main factions to join. There is also the Blades, which you will join whether you want to or not.
I've run into the Order of Virtuous Blood, a faction that buys Vampire Dust off of you because they want to kill all vampires.
Also there is the faction White Stallion or something like that from Leyawiin, and you become a Knights-Errant.
As far as the best go, I'd say Dark Brotherhood. Nice pay, good bonuses. Arena is fun too. Thieves Guild serves the purpose of buying stolen goods, and the Order of Virtuous Blood buys Vampire Dust when you happen to run across a vampire.

dark brotherhood and thieves are guilds right? so i can join both and still have room for faction. smile sweet i'll probably join those vampire hunters.

dark brotherhood. most definetely. you get hecka good weapons such as enchanted dagger: Sufferhorn and enchanted bow: Shadowhunt. now go join the guild and "spill some blood for me dear brother"

i love the dark brother hood, specialy the quest at the beggining that you drop a minautor head on a guy to make his death look like a accident

naw, naw, naw. the best quesat is whodunit? all the npcs are idiots. like, you kill everybody in there except for one person, you talk to them and they say, can u believe it all the other members have been murdered i guess its just u and me! then u kill em

i love the whodunnit quest, i told that woman that i am an asasin and still no one susspected me when the killing started!

That one was my favorite. I liked the accident one but whodunit was a lot more fun.
One of my other favorites was the one that you have to infultrate the sewers and kill that guy in prison. That was really challenging!
