XD; I dunno, the plan just seemed kinda run-of-the-mill to me. Sort of something that a half-assed fanfiction would have as their "OMG SECRET PLOT." surprised *expected better from an organization that Itachi would be in*

No way! It's Akatsuki, I wasn't expecting anything else xd
Plus, it's Akatsuki so you know it isn't going to be the usual take-over-the-world scheme. And I think there's more too it.
I mean, why destroy the place and rule over a pile of rubble?

I think there is MORE to the plan... like, you know, conquer the world and make everybody in it ____________________. Because, really, why would you conquer the world if you didn't want to change something?

Totally. cool Most definately. Like what we suspect Oro would really do if he could gain control of Konoha. Harems all the way! It's not unexpected, but I was kinda hoping for something more.

Seriously, what else can we expect from Kishimoto-sama? He's a die-hard fan of Draon Ball Z, and from what I recall of that series, there was ALWAYS a villain trying to take care of the world.
This little plot twist, che'! It's no twist at all.....
I suppose Itachi just joined because he was bored of a family that wanted to gain power in a village. Wanted to gain power on a bigger scale, I guess.
*huggles poor confused Itachi* There there... Sasuke will set you straight, er, gay..... xd
