[Amanda Palmer] and I went to a Dresden Dolls concert on October 19th. It was by far the best show we've seen thus far. I caught Brian's drumstick! I don't care if that sounds fangirlish.
Have you ever gotten anything special from a Dresden Dolls concert?

I missed them but my friends went (Without me scream )
They said it was awesome. But they got me a pin. smile
And now they brag that they got to touch them too
I will go to another show. Eventually. emo

Well, something special happened while I was there. razz Last October at St. Andrews Hall, I was wearing a blue glow-bracelet, and I kept playing with it. Well, it popped off my wrist and landed on the floor beneath the balcony/second floor area I was standing on. I decided not to go get it. But later, I looked down and saw one of the contorsionists, Alexis, had picking up my glow bracelet and weaved it into his black and white dreadlocks. whee So awesome! rofl

On the Dec. 23rd Philadelphia stop of the tour, my friend Abby received the plastic cup from the headliner Meow Meow, and my other friend Matt caught a drumstick as well. I would have got it, but he's over 6'. We're all band kids, so we appreciated that it was Vic Firth.
