Chonicles of Fate: Those Who Wish (Prologue)
And now, we shall start from the beginning. In this strange land known as Scania, there was once a little girl, her name was Ayame. She wished with all her heart to become one of the many magicians that she read about in her tiny books. Filled with all sorts of fantastic creatures and those who combated them, bowmen, warriors, thieves, and, ofcourse, mages.
Ayame woke up every morning from dreams where she had powers that could control the elements. She knew that this was what she wanted, so, she took up her sword and began to train on the weak little snails that had always infested the roads between her home town and the lager town not too far away called Amherst.
When she became weary, she'd come inside and read books full of stories about these wonderful mages. And as such, little by little, her intelligence slowly grew. Finally she was strong enough to leave. She walks from Amherst to the next town over, a Port town she could never remember the name of and boarded the boat for Victoria Island.
Once there, she landed in the Port town of Lith Harbor, she bought new clothes and walked to Ellinia, the town where mages were born. Following instructions given to her by freinds she met along the way, she arrived in Ellinia unscathed, and she began to climb the trees until she made it to the very top where the Library of Magic stood. Inside stood Grendel, the Very Old, one of the wisest magicians in Victoria.
She explained her will to Grendel and he gladly turned her into one of the many users of magic in this world. She pledged to train her body and mind, to become one of the most powerful in all of Scania! ....Alas, her dream was cut short, becoming a Cleric, she realized God's path, and had begun to follow it. She took a voyage to Ossyria Island. On the ride over, however, the ship was boarded by Crimson Balrogs and her life was taken away from her, her tales as of yet, untold. This is the end of her story, and the beginning of another. Which will be told later on. Until then, may the grace of the gods light your way.

Chronicles of Fate: Those Who Dare. (Chap. One)
Now begins our actual story. Since the events that transpired in the prologue, many things have happened. Let us begin with a young friend of Ayame. Her name is Sandy. A drab name, I know, but it is far different from what those outside of Maple Island call her. You see, not long after her friend Ayame went missing, Sandy decided to follow in Ayame's footsteps and become a mage like her. She found it extremely easy to go through the book of basic magic skill that Grendel the Really Old handed out to all those would-be mages who could find their way out of a paper bag if they tried. Soon she had mastered all of the skills she had seen as nessecary. Before she could become a higher class though, she decided to test out her skills on Florina Beach. There she ran into many annoying enemies and hide from them by burying herself in the sand. Although most people never had a way with this, Sandy could dive in and out of it as though she were a fish. Thus earning her well-known nickname, SandWhaley.

Sandy quickly became more and more skilled and word of her passed through the streets in all the towns, especially Ellinia, in whispers. Many were interested in what type of a person she was. Several got close enough to get a good glimpse at her, and some of them eventually became her dearest friends. A Hunter was the first, and yet another close childhood friend from MapleIsland. Then a Cleric and an Ice/Lightning wizard. Several warriors and a fellow mage that had yet to make her second advancement.
Sandy grew quickly in skill and finally caught the eye of Grendel, who asked her to take his test in the Northern Forest of Ellinia. Sandy agreed and travelled high into the trees, there she fought hard with evil-minded shrooms and curse eyes. As the instructor looked upon her and saw her strenght, he hastily bestowed upon her the Proof of a Hero, which she showed to Grendel. Grendel was proud of her accomplishments and gave her a choice of three different classes of wizard to become.
She smiled and chose quickly. Grendel nodded and bestowed upon her greater magic power and the Book of spells for an Ice and Lightning Wizard. She eagerly looked through the book and chanted the spell for teleportation. Soon she realized that she had chosen the right path. She set down it at full pace, teleporting the whole way.

As Sandy grew stronger, as began to learn more and more magic, soon playing with hoardes of monsters, zapping them a little at a time using a wonderful electricity spell she had found in her book. As it grew stronger, Sandy realized that she could take on even stronger monster, as is the case when one gets stronger...
She heard whispers and rumors in the side-streets about the island of Ossyria. She soon learned of the fate and had befallen her friend, and swore vengence against the crimson Balrogs, and all other creatures who would interfere. Fueled by this new passion inside her, she boarded the ship from Victoria to Ossyria at the port in Ellenia. On the voyage, flying through the coulds, Sandy looked for any sign of the balrogs that had killed her best friend, finding no sign of them.
As she ship came into port, she looked around herself. The beauty around her left her awestruck. She walked through the gate, into the city of Orbis.
