My book could pass for a Christian novel.
No, really. Hidden deep beneath the polytheism, the battling and the sliiiiiiiiight romance, (hehehe >.<) there's a lot of Christiany stuff I never noticed before.
Now, all of you who think I'm going to hell, you're probably right. But not for blasphemy.
*ahem*. 1) The chosen are Jesus. Seriously. They're reincarnations of their goddess, (there's that momotheism again heart ) who take on human form but really aren't, they have superhoman powers, their job is to save the world, and most of them are living models of the goddess's greatest message: equality. Screw saving from sins, they teach more of the everyone-in-the-world-is-equal thing. Anti-rascism, much?
2) The goddess herself is a Christian. Yup. 3nodding I think she's Russian or Asian or something. And she was a Christian from our world that just happened to learn magic, and since everything is so extreme in our world (*cough*testosterone*cough*) She was so good at it that she just made her own world. (there's a long story behind that, but I won't tell it here.) So en realidad, she's kind of a heretic. *shrug*
3) The battle between good and evil thing. Heaven v. Hell, Good v. Evil, et cetera et cetera. only it's a little different: instead of good winning, they strive for equality. And no further than that. But there was a crusades-like war (only rascism instead of religious takeovers, and such).
4) Parousia Yes, there is indeed a second coming in my book. >.< Only, not Jesus. Their goddess, actually. And then, there's this huge thing...but I'll save it for the seventh book, shall I?
OKay, that's really all i can think of. But HA! IM NOT GOING TO HELL AFTER ALL! w00t!

you know how judgement will be? Can I take notes?
wink
Besides... I think to get sent to Hell you have to do a whole lot worse than swear or do other little stuff like that. If THAT was the case then Hell would be winning on the soul count thing. Personally I think that if we aren't 'good' enough to enter heaven we come back here for another round of ye olde life.

My conspiracy theories and ploytheism will be my downfall.
Judgement day? Wellllllll.......there really isn't one in my book. The world keeps screwing up, and then they start over, again, and again, and again. But all the fun stuff happens the first time, because people mess up so much, and the last time it happens, the world will be perfect.
..................maybe. You know how us mortals can be. sweatdrop
