SaraRenee LearningtoBreath63 Myspace isn't bad at all, the parents are the wrong ones. They need to teach their kids about internet safety. Now I'm not saying they should know the password to their kids myspace account, but just teach proper safety and it's all good. I mean if people would keep their profiles on private and only talk to friends then everything would be ok, but parents don't teach about that stuff. Again I wasn't meaning myspace bad in that sense. I in no way blame myspace for kids being abducted or anything. That's parents and the kids fault for not being more careful like people warn them. I just meant in the fact how some people get addicted or spend all their time on it. And for people who like go to school and then come home and get on myspace then go to bed...Maybe get some tv time in. Well thats sort of me, but it's not just myspace, and I talk to friends on it that I don't get a chance to ever talk to off it. I'm not an addict though, and I don't think that makes myspace bad because people won't take personal responsibility to get off it every now and then.

I think the idea put behind is amazing and awesome. But the way it is used and they way people do get addicted to = bad. Which is why I deleted mine.

pros: I have met many christians on myspace and its the only way i can talk to the rest of my family and friends far away. Its also useful for posting school events, bands, music.....things like that
cons: police, employers, parents, anybody may look at your myspace. theres the potential for predators to find you.

BandFreakJo you NEED to see artists& famous people? that is what you said in your thing..... what about our artist, the artist that made us? the famous one, the lord of all the earth? i don't think you NEED myspace, you might want it, but i see only a waste of time..... If that was a reference to myself, I never said that. I said I like to visit music profiles and look at pics. In order to do the latter, it requires an account. No, I don't require a myspace to live, but I happen to enjoy having one due to the fact that it gives me more access to the site. M'kay? I think that people who spend 8 hours a day on myspace should go to a class on internet addiction and get a job (8 hours a day on myspace = a shift at Food Lion). I think Big Brother lives on myspace, so I get paranoid. Oh, and by the way, I have a secret: I AM TOM. Hoshiz. That's right, so watch yourselves, lol.

Actually Dean you did say you needed a myspace Irish Sean I have myspace out of necessity... And right before thatyou said you "I need a myspace." You don't need one you want one to talk to friends and view the music and stuff, but it's not a necessity.

Aren't we getting into semantics now? No, I don't need one. In fact, there are few things that anyone actually needs. We don't need the Internet. However, in order to do many of the things we like to do on a daily basis, the Internet is required. That's the meaning of the word "need" as I used it. I don't need a myspace, but in order to do the things I mentioned, an account is required.
I have friends in New York and Ireland. I speak to them on a daily basis. Could I do so without use of the Internet? No. So, I need the Internet to talk to these people, even though the Internet itself is not a necessity of life.

LearningtoBreath63 I think this is stupid, we really should be complaining about WOW (World of Warcrafts,) now that is what takes over peoples lives. LOL... I see it now. A 40-year-old guy in his mom's basement playing WoW 18 hours a day. He no longer sleeps. He no longer eats. He lives for WoW. In fact, it's been so long since he's used words, he doesn't know the sound of his, or anyone else's, voice...
