That's cool. Tomorrow is supposed to be the most exciting competition of the year for us. It's called Ancient City Prensentation of Bands. It's in St. Augustine, Florida. Twenty- One bands go there and only ten of them make the finals. I really hope we make it. whee When we made the finals last competition everyone was so excited, because we didn't do our best that day. Everyone was tired from the football game before. And also that is the first time in 6th years we made it for that competition. This St. Augustine one we're going to we got distinguished trophies for in 2001 when they went there. And we have to do better this time..

We had our contest yesterday, but it was inside. still we got a 94.42 at a standstill. It was amazing! I hate marching in the rain (well playing). States last year was pouring and halfway through my clarinet made NO sound. It teriffied me. Most of the woodwinds had to get the pads replaced. I could have cried gonk

last night we played in the worst conditions I've been in. First we get on the field and set up. Then the wind picks up, and half the guards flags blew 10 yards from their spots. The field was muddy so that when we moved there was a nasty squelching noise, and half the band's feet were submerged at one point. Then, of course, it starts to rain halfway through our third number.
All that and we still marched a pretty good show!
